HEY PEEPS, MY REVIEW IS GEARED TOWARDSLIGHT SKIN PEOPLE . I AM A COMMERCIAL HVACTECH. AND EVERY SPRING /SUMMER I GET CAUGHT OFF GUARD , WORK ON ROOF TOP HVAC EQUIPMENT WITH NO SUN PROTECTION. SKIN BLOCK IS OK,BUT I CANT REMEMBER TO USE IT. THATS WHY I BOUGHT 2 OF THESE HATS AND THEY ARE VERY CONVIENIENT ,VERY LIGHT WEIGHT, COMFORTABLY STAYS ON YOUR HEAD EVEN IN HEAVY WINDS,BUT MOST IMPORTANTLY, IT PROTECTS YOUR HEAD, NECK,FACE.I WISH I WOULD OF BOUGHT THESE SAFARI HATSYEARS AGO , CUZ I HAVE FAMILY HISTORY OFSKIN CANCER. LOOK, THEY ARE VERY CHEAP, COMFORTABLE, WASHABLE SO THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO EXCUSE FOR YOU WHINING ABOUT SUNBURN ON YOUR ENTIRE HEAD. I WOULD SAY I WISH THEY COULD OF BEEN MADE IN THE U.S.A

Living in the south in the summertime you’ll do almost anything to avoid the heat. I got this for my husband to try to do just that. He’s actually committed to wearing it. He says it does keep the sun off his neck in the back and sides. The brim comes forward more than his baseball caps do. He only wears this while he’s walking in the mornings when the sun is up faster now than it is in the winter. He does not wear this when he’s going out and about in town. That’s still a firm yes for the baseball cap. He says he is not hunting tigers in the wild.

Gosh I love this hat more than anticipated. It's a great price and keeps me cool-er than if I didnt have it. It's great to have something covering your neck to prevent the sun from beating down on you too. I dont think I will be stepping out in the sun without it ever again. AND one of the younger girls in my neighborhood said she thought it looked cool, which is always a plus 😎

I ordered a light grey and grey camo. The light grey was too tight but the grey camo fit fine. The "approximate" measurements given are way off. The approximate 24" circumference in the item description is misleading when the sizing info says 22-23.5". The brim that claims to be approximately 4.5" is less than 4" and only that wide in the front. Not like a half inch is a big deal but why not just describe it accurately? The brim is only 3" on the sides. The material is very thin.

Great hat to keep you well shaded and cool. We got this one for my husband after he admired mine. It is perfect for a sunny cruise excursion, hike in the mountains, yard work, sporting event (like kid’s soccer game), etc. I wish mine was navy like this one, but all is well.

Well made lightweight breathable hat helps to keep you cooler in the hot sun. My son loves the hat. He is a very large man with shoe size 15 and 6"3.5". This fits his head, but if you want to tighten it there is a way to tighten it easily. It is hard to find a hat that my son can actually wear, so I am thankful we found this one. It made a good gift. It keeps the sun off of your ears and neck so it is better than just a hat. Nice looking hat and great price. Nice quality too.

I'm pretty happy with this hat. It's not the greatest thing since sliced bread, but it will do the job. This hat is not high fashion... I bought it for sun protection. It performed well. The material is light weight, something like a wind breaker or the material used to make umbrellas. The cape or flap in the back is made of a double layer of that fabric & the crown of the hat is made with a single layer. I wear a size 7 1/2 hat & this hat fit, somewhat snugly, but it fit. The brim is wide enough to protect my face from the sun. What I like about this hat is that the flap doesn't obstruct my peripheral vision. Overall, I'm happy with this purchase.
