Excellent Quality and Value – My Go-To Unflavored Protein
I've been using the Nutricost Whey Protein Isolate (Unflavored) 5LBS for several months now, and it has become a staple in my daily nutrition regimen. The unflavored aspect is perfect for me, as it allows versatility in mixing with various smoothies and recipes without altering their taste. Each serving provides a substantial 30 grams of protein, which supports my muscle recovery and growth effectively. The powder mixes easily with water or milk, leaving no clumps, and has a smooth texture. I appreciate that it's made from grass-fed whey, is non-GMO, and free from artificial additives, aligning with my preference for clean supplements. The 5-pound tub offers great value for money, making it a cost-effective choice for those who consume protein regularly. Additionally, knowing that it's produced in a GMP-compliant, FDA-registered facility gives me confidence in its quality and safety standards.Overall, I highly recommend the Nutricost Whey Protein Isolate to anyone seeking a high-quality, unflavored protein supplement that delivers on both performance and value.

It tastes great, is affordable, and doesn't upset my stomach.
This stuff is great. It tastes good, the ingredient list is simple, it dissolves instantly, and it's much more affordable than other brands. While I haven't tried many other brands, I have tried a few, and this one is is the best, although I've only had the vanilla version, to keep it simple. The flavor is simple and mild, but doesn't have a weird artificial aftertaste that lingers like some brands do, which is a good thing to me.The biggest reason that I like it is that it doesn't upset my stomach like many other whey isolates, which is crucial because I have stomach problems (gastroparesis, sensitive stomach, etc.), and I need help maintaining/gaining weight.Even if the flavor is too boring for some people, the price alone is a sufficient reason to get it, in case you are picky.

The best protein powder I had.
I have tried multiple protein powders. I usually run into the issue with the taste, consistency and post mix. It has a very good taste to it. When you mix it up it doesn’t clump up or even make the base your using for your smoothie thicker. The consistency makes it very easy to get down and drink. I love the chocolate taste and along with how much protein is in this it’s a no brainer for my needs.

Cold liquid only!!!
I thought it would be good mixed into coffee...don't even try! It turned into a thousand little mushy bits that wouldn't dissolve and had to be strained. I threw away at least half of the serving after the straining process. The salted caramel flavor was tasty. I'm going to try iced coffee and see if that is any better. They should state on the label "do not bend into hot liquid."

Delicious Protein!
The cookies and cream is the best tasting protein shake I have ever had! After years of drinking chocolate cardboard flavor from optimum nutrition brand protein i decided to do a switch and try a differnt brand and flavor... wow I should have changed years ago. This cookies and cream taste like a dessert/ smoothie. Instead of just chugging to get it down i can now take my time and enjoy! I mix it with almond milk, water, and a few ice.Worth the extra 40 calories to have a tasty protein shake. If you like cookies and cream ice-cream, give this a go! Looking forward to trying another flavor next time!

I Honestly Didn't Expect This to Taste Good; But It Does!
OK, let me be honest about why I purchased protein powder. I donate plasma twice a week and keeping protein levels high enough so I qualify for that day's donation can be a bit tricky because I go at 6AM. I really don't want to get up and cook breakfast at 4:30AM so I decided to try a protein powder. To continue my honesty, I wanted Isolate powder because I was told it's the fastest digesting. And the Nutricost brand was less expensive and 3rd party tested so I chose it. Deciding on the flavor was difficult because I expected any flavor to taste phoney, be gritty, and not mix easily. Wrong! Wrong! Wrong! It mixes very easily using a chopstick, spoon, or a handheld immersion blender - less than 15 seconds! I ordered Mocha, and though it's more chocolate than coffee flavored, I like it a lot because it's not sickeningly sweet. I mixed1 scoop with 6oz. water and was unexpectedly pleased. Tomorrow I'll try it with milk and maybe mix it with yogurt another day.I am truly surprised at the quality and flavor. I certainly see why it has so many 5 star reviews.

Cookies and cream flavor is perfect
Absolutely awesome flavor cookies and cream is always a risky choice. I was very surprisedI’ve used all the super expensive brands and this one is actually my favorite. No signs of upset stomach mixes well water, milk yogurt whatever even my wife likes it. And the price you can’t argue with

Good value for the money
I’ve tried this in chocolate and vanilla. Both taste great, and I’ve experienced some gains while using them. The protein to calorie ratio is excellent and it’s very affordable. I removed one star for 2 reasons. First, this whey froths up like crazy when blending in my nutribullet. My other whey powders don’t behave like this. It’s annoying getting a stomach full of air and belching for the proceeding 30 minutes after consuming my recovery shake. Second, the sodium content isn’t great. I track everything I eat and was surprised to find my protein powder was one of the most significant contributors to my sodium intake when performing an analysis on my diet. There are alternatives that are sub 200mg per serving.
