This was originally a gift for Christmas, but College Graduation got moved up. My son graduated with a Forensic Mollecular Science and Mollecular Biology Degree with a Chemistry Minor. He opened this and said "oh wow! That's great!" He loved it! It was perfect!

The product was great overall however it barely have a few of the elements, especially scandium where it is just a small thread, and you can barely see it even with the magnifying glass.

I like that they have samples of a lot of the elements “ABOUT THE MERCURY SAMPLE” I read the review about the mercury sample not being legit but it actually is legit I looked up in the book that I baught with it as a often baught together suggestion “OUR WORLD IN PICTURES THE ELEMENTS“ on the page about mercury (PAGE 100)it shows a red mineral called cinnabar and when heated the mercury separates from the solid mineral so in the item the most likely have a sample of the cinnabar mineral rather than actual mercury because actual mercury is toxic and dangerous and even though this is a sturdy item they don’t want to chance a leak of the liquid form
