Great, affordable table for Crafters and Artists!
GENERAL REVIEW OF THE ASSEMBLED TABLE:I love my new drafting table! The tilt arm works great and tilts up pretty high. I'm using it right now for a large diamond painting and the higher angle will really come in handy and save me from neck and back pain. Because the glass top is heavy, I recommend that you put your foot on the base when tilting it all the way up so it remains stable while you change the position or unlock the mechanism. Once in position, it's fine and you don't need to keep your foot on it. (You'll see what I mean if you buy this table.) That's a minor thing, in my opinion, considering what a great, sturdy, attractive, and affordable table this is! The rolling legs are really wonderful. I'm using it tilted for diamond painting, but if I want to use it flat for other crafts, I can just roll it around and work on the opposite side so I don't have to remove the pencil ledge. If you don't want to have to reposition the table, the pencil ledge is very easy to remove, as is the metal caddy holder. There's no need to remove the glass top first to remove the ledge or the caddy holder. The metal parts of the table are sturdy. The glass is sturdy, but still thin enough to attach plastic clips I bought at Harbor Freight.PACKING AND SHIPPING:It was packed pretty well. My only complaint is that the metal tilt arm was placed directly on top of the 1/2 inch thick styrofoam that protects the glass top. The tilt arm was not bubble wrapped. During shipping, the sharp metal edge on it had dug a 3 inch diameter hole into the styrofoam all the way down to the glass. By some miracle, the glass was not shattered or scratched by the sharp edge of the metal arm. The shipping was very fast! It arrived via FedEx a few days before the projected shipping date, which made me very happy. If the seller reads this review, I hope you will pad the metal arm or at least tape the edges or something to prevent potential damage to the glass. That's probably why some people's table tops arrive shattered!ASSEMBLY:Assembly was relatively easy. If you are experienced at putting together your own furniture, this can be done in less than an hour by one person! I took my time and paid close attention to the detailed instructive illustrations. Take your time! Study the drawing and follow the steps in order, and you shouldn't have any major issues. I am a small woman and was able to assemble this and place the glass top all by myself. I cleaned the underside of the glass before I put the top on. After full assembly, I used Goo Gone to remove the sticky residue after tearing off the numbered stickers. I placed the shelf unit outside the table frame. It's wonderful to have that option for extra leg room. I put a 12×12 piece of wood over the top to hold my coffee cup.ASSEMBLY TIP FOR THE GLASS TOP: leave the screws a little loose for wiggle room and you should have no problem getting all the screws in place after you line the glass up squarely. Tighten them all at the end, not as you go along from hole to hole. By doing this, I had no trouble getting the tabletop fully secured using all the screws.CONS: The off gassing of the fabric drawers is very noticeable. I had to put them in the carport for now because they have an offensive smell. I'm hoping a few days in the fresh air will help. The only other con was the aforementioned precarious packing of the metal tilt arm. Basically, the pro's far outweigh the cons. I hope this detailed review and my photo will help you decide if this is the right table for you.

Excellent product
The media could not be loaded. The delivery on this product was speedy. It arrived in good packaging and was quite easy to assembly despite the comments of others for me. The table looks very professional and sturdy. I am absolutely in love! The only con I had was some of the screws and holes are misaligned. The compartments are a bit small too however I do have extra storage so I’m okay not a deal breaker. Overall, I would recommend this product for anyone looking for a great drafting table on a budget.

Some Flaws in the Craftsmanship, but Overall Pleased
I was very nervous ordering this desk, due to the fact that I had ordered a different desk from a different seller not too long ago and it ended in a disaster (the base board completely snapped). But this desk I was at least able to get to the finish line and is 100% usable. I like the fact that you have the option to attach the drawers either underneath or off to the side of the desk (which I have done, in order to have more leg room and to have a place to put more art supplies once I add a top to the drawers). I am giving this desk four stars because there was some slight damage to the framing (shown in pictures), a part of the drawer frame was bent, and also there is a slot needed to screw on the supporting frame of the glass, and the slot was bent and therefore the whole frame would not go into place. That was crucial for the build, otherwise the glass would not be able to be put on. I was worried I would have to order a replacement part, but since the frame is made out of thin light metal, I had the idea to smack it into place (lightly) with a hammer and to my relief, it worked. Also a very crucial flaw, that I reckon is half our fault, is when we were screwing on the glass top, it was hard to screw the screws in evenly so we had to lift the glass board for a bit while other screws were in, and the silver circles that are attached to the glass board suddenly slid out of place. This means that the glass board is not attached to the frame at all, it is just being held by the pencil holder at the bottom. I am going to look for an adhesive to securely attach the glass board back onto the silver circles. So I am taking a star off for flaws in the framework, but thankfully there were solutions to all of them. Everything else went smoothly, took my boyfriend and I a couple of hours to put together but we are generally slower at putting things together I would say, so the average duo could probably build it in an hour or so. The end result is stunning, it really does all pull through in the end, the glass is elegant and the whole look is wonderfully modern. I am overall very pleased with my purchase and I am looking forward to a long artistic journey with the help of this desk!
