This kit comes with everything you need to get started. If you are planning to crimp large wires, this probably isn't the kit for you (those kits are WAY more expensive and beefy). This works great for smaller gauge wire & ferrules. The fact that it comes with a spool or wire and lots of ferrules to get started is an added bonus. I created several cables already for various uses. Make sure you pay attention to the included instructions and crimp the ferrules the right way (from the sides, not the top - diagram in instructions makes it clear).

First and foremost, item exactly as described. The crimper works and works well. The cable is just that - 1/16th - 304 Stainless. The aluminum clamps work fine. I would totally buy this again, and again. The only problem that I had was with the lock to keep the crimper closed. It was not spring loaded, so when I was crimping the cable it would roll down to the locked position. I overcame this problem by changing the position of the work and holding the crimper differently. Problem solved. Past that - this is a great addition for anyone who has a spouse that wants lots of pictures hung everywhere. :)

Works well. Crimps tight and the crimpers have lots of leverage and easy to use.

Tool and materials were as described. Worked for the application, tool is sturdy but the system, tool/materials is for light duty cable, largest size apx 2mm. Works fine for plant hangers in raised bed system.

kit did not come with the 100-cable ferrule aluminum loop sleeve stops, and was delivered several days later then was supposed to. Overall quality of everything else is good.
