Awesome insight! My brother is the worlds biggest Aves fan (even these days!) and loves this Christmas gift. I heard an interview with the author on NPR and had to track it down. Some really interesting facts, trivia and stories about the team from it's inception and throughout the years. He travels a lot for work so the paperback is perfect to slide in a backpack. Well written and researched, I would definitely buy it again.

Great book. Ya see I'm the biggest avs fan out there. Before I read this I thought Adrian Dater was an avs player so I was surprised.

I love the AVS, this is a great read. I thought I knew alot about the AVS, but I learned some new things. I did notice a few dates were incorrect. But it's still a great story about one of my favorite team.

Just a fun read and especially if you are an Avs fan.

Dater really knocks it out of the park in this book. It's just the right mix of "life of a beat reporter" and "behind the scenes of an NHL team. Great stuff!

It was brand new! Didn’t expect that, coming from Goodwill.
