SchiitLokius 6-Band Balanced Tone Control Equalizer (Black)

This equalizer took my system to the next level. This is not your run of the mill gadget but a well made product that is worth every penny. The sound quality from the very low bass to the high treble that this equipment brings, added so much to the sound stage presence that I was looking for. The only thing is that you have to wait a few minutes before the equalizer kicks in. But I guess anything worthwhile is worth waiting for—and this Lokius Balance Equalizer is no exception! Another amazing piece of Schiit!!!

Wow, what a great addition to my system. I have a Forte pre amp with no equalizer controls. This might be the best addition I have made to my vintage 40 year old system, deeper sound stage and overall better acoustics. Having second thoughts about adding a sub woofer.

Recently put together a sound system with some real speakers and some amps and wanted more tone control. The eq market isn't what it was when I was a teen. This seemed to be one of the more solid offerings. I wish it was 10 bands but it definitely gets it done. If you want more than that flat signal this will bring out the crisp highs and punch out those lows. No frills, just some knobs that work.

Great EQ with a very little noise comparing with Douk Audio EQ. Bypass switch is a great asset. Also, I am using it as an input switcher connecting balanced audio with the CD and regular RCA with the phono preamp. The bypass allows you to listen pristineCD or LP and if something needs a little correction you can just flip it into the chain and adjust sound to the taste.The only strange thing for me was that RCA out and XLR out will output THE SAME signal and XLR balanced output delivers too much signal level into amplifier causing over modulation. Logic of this is strange to me as I was assuming that RCA and XLR input/output are used independently. The ShiiT manual or tech description says nothing about it. I've discovered this by experimenting. The fun and lighthearted language of the manual is cool but I think some technical details could be helpful.Again, the quality is great, sound is great, bypass is great. Knobs and distance between them - not so much. The process of knobs rotation is a bit awkward. Those knobs could benefit from some additional "human interface" design makeover.

I was skeptical about this idea to add a EQ to my music equipment but was wrong!Thanks to Schllt Audio I’m able to hear more details from my sources.Build as a tank, sounds very good.only one complaint if I don’t lower the volume on my dac I’m having popping noise to the speakers, but I can manage it and not have the volume very high on my dac.

I wasn't quite sure how much power the equalizer used but the power supply says 20 watt on it and so it's pretty low for the drain and it does have very nice sound. I think the equalizers are spot on in terms of what I was looking for and I am using for equalizer for a headphone amplifier and I think it works great for that and was able to raise the midrange some and the next bass a bit and even the treble and then the low bass a small amount and the highest treble and it works great. I am using for monitor headphones and so that further brings out the vocal which is necessary sometimes when using monitoring sidepathed headphones off a vj system and so this is very nice. I think the price is pretty good for a unit and there are very few choices and this is an equalizer that works as a 6 band equalizer in close to a 1/2 rack setting and just a little larger which was fine. Thanks for having this device and it works good and I hope to get to use for a lot of years and I am sure it work fine because it sounds very clean and so does the equalizer itself when setting the equalizer. Just bought it the last days of August, used it ONE time and now the equalizer doesn’t work in either mode RCA/balance.. only passes information from one end to the other.. not a reliable one..

Hooked it up to my Yamaha AS220, Audiolab 6000 cd player and Bifrost 2/64 it sounds amazing brought music to another level. Crystal clear sound i can hear drum symbols like never before wow sparkle clear. I listen to 80s metal mostly but amazing EQ.
