Easy but touchy
This product is odd. I haven’t tried to smartphone app yet either. When I blow, if it’s within like 20 minutes of drinking it’s absolutely wrong. But a little after that, it seems to give consistency. It’s odd though because when you blow, it has a 10 second timer which is impossible to blow the duration of. So you stop and it’ll give you a reading once the timer runs out. But then, if you try to blow the whole 10 seconds, it randomly just jumps the timer around and adds a few more seconds to the timer, which makes no sense. I’ve only really successfully tried it a half hour after stopping drinking and it gave me .05 after a tall beer at bdubs which makes sense. But on the 4th try it gave .08 out of nowhere then back to .05 the next time. Whenever I tried it within 30 minutes of drinking it gives values that would kill you. So, definitely a nice tool, but if I was .07 or .08, I wouldn’t confidently drive given it can jump around.

Convenient, It does measure something.
This breathalyzer is inexpensive insurance. If you are like me, wine is a compliment to dinner. But while I enjoy dining out, I do not want to drive while impaired. I don't always take an Uber. Having a way to measure seems like a good idea. This device is inexpensive. It arrived without batteries- it takes two AAA. It would be a better device if it were rechargeable so that I could keep it in the car and recharge it with a USB plug. But heck, here we are.I took it for a spin last night and measured BAC after drinking 1 beer. After 1 hour it measured .014%. that seems about right. It's measuring something. It doesn't feel like a particularly robust instrument, but It'll probably last forever. It's not going to get bounced around much. It isn't a luxury item in feel or purpose. But it is utilitarian.I'll give it four stars. It's useful and inexpensive. It seems to work. I'll update if I have any new discoveries develop.

All for science...
I've never tested a breathalyzer before so if you are expecting any sort of scientific analysis here...this will not be it. However, based on my testing and copious alcohol consumption I can say...it seems fairly accurate. Yes, there will be some false reading, low readings....but once you get a feel for how to blow into it, you should get consistent readings. I found that it seems to read best when your mouth isn't too close nor too far from it and you give it a nice hearty blow during the 10 second reading. No need to destroy your lungs or try and blow as hard as you can for a full 10 seconds...just give a good hard blow for several seconds. As expected, as the number of vodka shots increased...so did my blood alcohol level! I think I topped off around 0.33, which is obviously way over the legal limit (there was no driving that night, it's obvious but I will say it). There were a few false readings where it seems to read 0.99 repeatedly and then again starts giving you realistic readings after a few more tries.Of course, as I began abstaining my BAC dropped as well which again is expected and gives me some sense of confidence here. I do seem to metabolize alcohol really fast, which is surprising but then again I never get hang overs, so perhaps that was to be expected. All in all, I feel that it is a fairly good way to give yourself an idea of your level. You will likely have to test a few times and try and get an idea what you are averaging. I don't even drink that often but still a nice tool to have on hand for yourself and others. Cheers and be safe!

Not accurate
It’s always good to know where you stand when it comes to drinking.A few of my friends had a few drinks as I stayed drinking water. The first friend only drank one drink and used this. It said she was 4x over the legal limit. Impossible! The second friend has two drinks and it said she was 4X the legal limit. She tried it again 10 seconds later and got a completely different result. Not very accurate and we followed instructions.

Not Accurate At All
What you get - Hand Held Breathalizer that you can hook up to an appPros - it is small and convenient to carryCons - DOES NOT WORK AT ALL! My husband and I went drinking at the bar and our daughter was the Designated driver. My husband several beers (his reading was barely above the legal limit when in reality he should have been way over) but MORE CONCERNING - I had 3 large Peach Schapps drinks - which should EASILY have put me way over the driving limit but this said I WAS CLEAR TO DRIVE. It registered a 0.02 after drinking then 0.00 after 20 minutes. We retested SEVERAL times as we knew this was wrong - but the results remained the same.Overall - not that I think ANYONE should rely on these because just don't drink and drive - BUT if you had maybe 2 drinks earlier and wasn't sure- THIS WOULD NOT BE A GUARANTEE!

Absolute waste of money
My wife and I tried this out a couple of times and compared to a couple of other pocket style breathalyzers. It was definitely the most inconsistent of three different ones that we’ve tried. the one that actually works the best quit working within a couple days. making sure that you’re below the legal limit to drive is a pretty big deal, so having something that’s wildly inaccurate helps no one. there’s a big difference between feeling like you’re OK to drive and being literally legal to drive after a drink or two, and I wouldn’t put my life or others or my drivers license at risk based on the results this thing provided. there’s really no other use for it beyond making sure following a dinner and a couple drinks you still qualify for operating a vehicle legally, if you rely on this you’re liable to land yourself a DUI

Easy to use!
GREENWON BREATHALYZER- This breathalyzer is easy to use and seems to give some kind of readings. I find this to be more of a fun gadget. My husband tried this after drinking about 4 beers and his readings came up different every time. Some of the readings were close to the previous but some were not.I wouldn't want to take any chances with this and use this breathalyzer to check whether I was legally safe to drive. It does take 2 aaa batteries that are not included.Fun for a novelty item!
