Love this book, can't wait to make something from it

I love this book, modern beautiful fabrics and designs for the home, lots of sewing advice, gorgeous colours and photographs.

A very useful and informative book on sewing cushions, curtains, bed covers and an other smaller items for the home. Inspires ideas.

On the plus side, this a beautiful book and if you live in the US I would highly recommend. However, as a UK reader I found the US text throughout the book irritating and difficult to understand and follow. Initially I thought I had been sent the wrong edition. However, I contacted the publishers and was informed:"Apologies for the confusion but we only have one version of Sewing for the Home, which is for both the UK and US markets. It is in US text but with metric measurements in brackets after the imperial measurements. ‘Yardage’ is the amount of fabric needed and ‘decorator fabric’ is fabric suitable for soft furnishings (and page 180 gives more information about fabric). I wouldn't buy again as a UK reader
