The fingerprint recognition feature of this pistol safe is so sensitive that it opens at the touch of a button, which greatly improves the speed of gun retrieval. At the same time, the low noise design allows me to remove my weapon silently in an emergency, which is very practical!

It comes with a whole new solution for handgun storage. The fingerprint READER has outstanding performance and operates with low noise, allowing me to enjoy security and safety without worrying about noise interference.

I was also impressed with the installation process of this gun cabinet. Alone one weekend afternoon, I followed the instructions and easily installed it next to my nightstand. It was designed to fit perfectly into my bedroom environment without being obtrusive, but offers great convenience. This one comes with a fingerprint reader and opens with low noise for my added security.

Mounting the safe was a breeze and it fits perfectly under my nightstand. I feel much safer having my gun stored in this safe.

This is the first gun safe i have installed, and for the most part I am very impressed. Programming and fingerprint calibration are easy enough if you follow the included instructions. Installation of the hangar bracket was smooth, though I did not use the included wood screws for mounting (see below). The unit operates quickly, smoothly, and quietly when muted and is visibly discreet.Potential issues I have found in regards to the physical security of the unit, not its digital or mechanical operation:~The set screw that secures the unit to the mounting bracket is visible between the bracket and the unit. This is enough space for someone with a hacksaw blade to cut through the screw and simply pull the unit off of the bracket. I installed 2 small grade 8 washers between the unit and the bracket to fill up the gap and provide a much more difficult metal to work through should someone try.~The included wood screws are unsuitable for mounting into a particle/press board surface. They are likely more than sufficient for a solid wood surface. I used the bracket to align the holes through my mounting surface, and used appropriately sized carriage bolts with locktite on the nuts to secure the bracket in place. I did have to trim off excess length from the carriage bolts to ensure the unit would slide onto the bracket~ The gap around the slide-out holster door is larger than I would like. this may be a standard for this type of quick access gun safe, again this is my first one. If the latching mechanism is strong enough, then a crowbar should only damage the frame and still keep the firearm inaccessible. just something to be aware of.

The sturdy construction of this gun cabinet gives me a great sense of security when I am traveling. I know that even when I'm not home, my firearms are best protected from any unauthorized access. My favorite features are its fingerprint recognition and low noise opening, which is really convenient.

I've had this product for about 7 months now and I've tried to give it time and a decent opportunity to meet my expectations. However, it has not met the mark. I did not purchase this to be a daily use gun safe, as I wanted it to store my Glock and serve as a quick access tool next to my bed.The concept of this biometric safe is great. I was able to mount it to the side of my nightstand with ease. The thought of being able to quickly access my sidearm in the middle of the night, with ease, seemed like the perfect match for this safe. However, the finger print scanner seems to give little effort into reading your actual print. After having it installed and not having to use it for a while, I decided to make sure it would recognize my print and allow me quick access from my bed. It immediately gave me a failed validation (red beeping) before I fully pressed my thumb on the scanner. After attempting to quickly try a few more times, it locked and delayed any opening (manual says it locks from tampering for 5 minutes). During this time, it also wouldn't accept the pin code I assigned. Luckily, I wasn't in a serious situation at the time, otherwise, I probably wouldn't have been able to defend myself (unless a burglar gave me 5 minutes).It seems like the fingerprint scanner definitely doesn't work as good as the one on your cellphone. You'd probably need to have a perfectly clean hand and line it up exactly as you did when you stored the print.My final thoughts:If you are looking for something that will work in an emergency situation, I would not recommend this product as it just isn't reliable from a quick access standpoint. Just spend a little more money on a product that put a little more money into the quality of the function.
