Had a Weller soldering station 🚉 that I bought 5 years ago and paid $145 for. Went to use it and it was dead. Little skeptical about buying this one because of the low price. Took a chance and bought it and I’m very happy with it. I’m not sure how accurate the temperature reading is. It says to set it at 345 (I think it was), at which point the solder would melt. It didn’t so I cranked it up a bit and got the flow. Works great so far and although the magnifying glass is a little gadgety, the “helping hands “ are very handy since I solder all of the electrical fittings in my car’s wiring harness instead of crimp connectors.Highly recommend, would buy again!

wish i bought years ago. makes soldering electronics fast and simple. heats to temp in less than a minute, takes longer to walk to another bench than it takes to solder. I carry it by clamps used to hold small parts. solder that comes with it could be better.

This gets 3 stars from a usability standpoint. It heats up super fast, is consistent, screen is bright and easy to use, and so far is a good build quality (doesn't overheat with extended use).However, the Power Cord is not very long, (doesn't reach the ground from my 28" High Table) and the Iron's cord itself coming out of the front has caused me headaches having to manage the cables position without knocking things over. Also, the flexible arms are a great addition, and have good tension to not just sag under the load of your subject. However, the stand itself is not heavy enough to be able to manipulate the gripping arms without holding down the station itself. This makes everything 2 handed, when soldering is a 2 handed activity already.This gets 4 stars because all the additional accessories and tips it comes with, which is a great value.

I've been using this solder gun a lot lately, live this little setup, heats up instantly. Great for doing small electronic repair. Wish I had this years ago

Having a blast with it. Been fixing random cables and electronics with it. The solder flux included isn't that great so I purchased some on my own, but other than that it's been working great.

Storage capacity is great, designed great for beginners, instruction manual is easy to follow. The soldering iron is of great quality for a beginner. Very sturdy and functions great right out of the box.

As an RC hobbyist, I highly recommend this soldering station. I have a TS100 and another local hardware store pencil-style soldering iron, but they just don't have the wattage you need to get good solder joints for 12/10ga wiring connections nor for motor tabs. Night and day difference, so much so, I went and re-soldered a bunch of my motors because they were just embarrassing looking. Now it looks like I know what I am doing.
