Works perfectly terminals well documented
This transformer worked perfect. The voltage was 28v without load but worked perfectly for my water softener. Unlike other manufactures the labeled terminals were accurate and clearly documented.

Cheaper Alternative
I would not recommend that anyone just do this! This requires some electrical know how. If you have that you will be good. Pretty straight forward piece of equipment. I do have to say that I was not impressed when I opened the box to see the mounting bracket all bent out of shape. I had to spend about 15 min getting the mount straightened back out. Once that was done it was a pretty simple (if you have electrical background) install. Overall it has held up thus far. We will see here in the future. When it has some time one it.

It worked.
It works. $30.00. Get a spare for later, like on Sat evening when the ac dies on a humid 90° evening. Can't speak to long term reliability.

As expected, a quality product.
When removing one of the wire connectors on the HVAC transformer, the metal tab tried to come off with it and split the copper winding. Perhaps I used too much force, and the components hadn't been touched in 8 years, but I jumped it with a small copper wire and everything works fine! I purchased a new one for peace of mind, although I did not have to.
