This battery / alternator tester is extremely easy to use. Unlike most simple light-displays, this tester gives 4 lights to indicate state of battery (40%, 60% 80%,100%) with different colored lights. Most testers of this kind only give 3 (Low, Medium, High). I highly recommend this tester for it's design and simplicity. I ordered 2 testers to keep one out in my barn for my riding mower.

I bought this item approximately week ago. I returned the item due to the fact that it had no instructions included in the box and had already been out to another customer and repackaged. I ordered the item again this time it’s arrived as should in a Sealed bag, But still no instructions. Disappointed.But as far as you get it goes, it is easy to use. I used it for battery testing straightforward, red plus negative or Earth. The Guidance indicator tell you the state of the battery Condition.This items is good value for money And they were recommend purchasing it.

I have a large 12V battery backing up the sump pumps in my basement. The company that installed the pumps comes once a year to service the pumps. Every time they come they try to sell me a new $500 battery. Now I can check the battery myself. Very useful. Product represents good value for money and works well.

So far it's good. I just hope it's accurate. I really want to trust this. Good tool to have around as a DIYer.

First, I have to say that I received the item on time and is just like advertise on the website. I used it right away to check one of my vehicles and it tested my battery as expected. I had bought another tester a lot more bigger and with printing capability. So it was no difference of outcome between both, the one with printing capability is more expensive in the range of $40.00, compare to $11.00 dollars for this unit.This unit is great to have in your car tool box at all times, you will eliminate the need to go to the auto parts and get a result that may not be in your favor. The unit is small enough to put in your glove compartment. You can also conduct routine checks on your batteries specially if you don't drive your vehicles frequently. I am going to buy 2 more to keep in each of my vehicles.. I strongly recommend this item.

I am a little hesitant to give this product a rating as I have not yet had an opportunity to compare it with results from a voltage meter. It was easy to use and provided the simplified information needed to evaluate my battery and alternator but I would like to know more about its accuracy. That would allow me to better decide on a rating for it and give it more or less stars.

Could have better instructions, overall, not bad at all for the price...I'm satisfied with the accurate results giving me more confidence on the road...Yes--I recommend this product
