It's Not A Bad Recovery Powder. Not A Great One, Either.
I had used GNC's Amplified Wheybolic Extreme recovery powder until they changed their formula. It no one longer blunted the post-tennis and workout soreness and seemed to be focused on muscle mass gain, something I haven't needed since college. So, after some research, I decided on Pure Isolate as a recovery-only powder. It seems to work okay. I still have muscle soreness after workouts and tennis, but it's not as bad as with the revised Amplified Wheybolic. I'm still searching for a better post-workout recovery powder.
