These wheel are solid. The brakes are perfect. They don't move at all when there on and when off roll perfectly. Love them.

Killer replacement casters for my heavyduty welding table. Definitely well made and can handle heavy loads. Tires are solid rubber and keep their shape. I had to adapt the mounting plate on my table, but being a DIYer not a problem. Easy to roll once mounted. The locking brake allows for fixing the wheel base in place.

If you are looking for a set of casters that can carry a load … These casters are your answer to your problems. But, you will have to work at making them fit. In my search for a set of heavy duty casters that can go any where, I’ve found that they all seem to have different mounting ‘features’. That means that the mounting plates increase in size with the size of the load they are designed to carry. Duh! These casters come with multiple mounting hole options, but be prepared to modify either the mounting locations or the caster’s mounting plate. Made of heavy steel, with hard rubber tires, these casters (once mounted), will ‘carry the load’, but they’re a load to carry … it’s almost a two handed task. But, fit and finish, for a HEAVY DUTY caster they are top of the line. If you are replacing an existing 8” caster, you might be in luck and not need to make any modifications. I’m going to keep them, they’re worth the effort to modify them, or to create a new mounting option. For all of my attempts to match the various options of capacity and mountings options, there does not appear to be one standard for caster attachment. To allow me to transport a large fishing kayak carrier over rough terrain, I’m trying to replace a set of 3” casters with these 8” replacement casters. Unless you are replacing a caster of the same size, be prepared to have to create a unique mounting interface adapter. These casters are supposed to be able to carry a 3,000# load, but your ‘adapter plates’ need to be able to carry that load also. These are GREAT casters, have great brakes, are expensive, but they are worth the cost and effort to use them … I will find a way … but, you might need a furniture dolly just to get the box of 4 to your job site.

I needed heavy-duty casters to roll around carts with heavy machinery in my shop. I also bring my machinery outdoors at times on nice days, and these 8-Inch wheels are perfect for rolling over gravel as well as pavement breaks. I doubt that I will ever wear them out. The heavy gauge steel frames will not buckle, and I have no difficulty with them on uneven ground. And the locking brakes work perfectly. Highly recommended.

Used these to make carriers for very heavy picnic tables. They worked well and made moving the picnic tables in our community center very easy.

The wheels were super heavy duty which was to be expected. However, they were too large for the kitchen island that I intended to put them on.

I help out with our high schools marching band. We have a cart that carries some of our electronics. Mainly the mixing board cart. Over the years it has gotten increasingly heavier. I have tried many different sets of wheels on the cart, and usually, they just about make it through a season of competitions and football games. I gave these wheels a shot, and they are still looking good after the season, as well as a few parades as well. They have worn better than any other tire that I have used, and will be using them once again in the fall, when these wear out.
