We purchased this clock for my elderly mum due to the size of the numbers as she has difficulty reading the time. Unfortunately once on the wall it was apparent she could not see the numbers clearly as the back light only comes on for 5 seconds when snooze button is pressed. As the clock is on the wall it is impossible for her to press this button. When looking at all clocks we thought the back light of the clock was much brighter than it actually is as this would have highlighted the numbers for her to read.

Very clear..keeps good time.
