Beast of a block
Honestly , I didn't really know what to expect with this block. I was just tired of my wood blocks getting splintered up.. I use this as a tapping block for flooring btw... This thing weighs About 3 or 4 pounds lol. My 1st impression was holy cow!! After using it a few times now on a few different types of laminate and lvp planks, I absolutely love it and it should last a lot longer than a wood block. Hopefully the price comes down a bit because I do think it is a bit over priced, but what can you do. Just get it

Exactly what I was looking for
This is EXACTLY what I’ve been looking for. Perfect length & thickness. It also got here 3 days early so I’m really happy about this. If you do laminate or LVP flooring, I highly recommend this tapping block to help knock in those boards. Also very sturdy and can take a beating from a hammer “that doesn’t mean go Hercules ham on it” but it gets the job done with style.

Great block
It's a good tapping block but I also cut some off to use as a guide block in a u-rail. Works great there too!

Non marring and many different uses
Very useful for your own builds. I used this block to make my own accurate tapping blocks for T&G flooring. I found a bandsaw or oscillating tool works best for cutting it. It holds up quite well to daily hammer impacts as well.

Does the job
Pretty much just a 3x3x8 inch chunk of UHMW material to be used for tapping laminate into place. It was effective at tapping the laminate without damaging the edges, although it wood tended to roll when tapping a little harder. Using a hammer when planks needed a little extra persuasion did the job without damaging the block or the laminate.

Simple and Effective
Great non-marring tapping block. Keep in mind that this is not molded with special edges for certain types of interlocking flooring. That being said, this is a tough but forgiving plastic, similar to a cheap cutting board, so it did no damage to the interlocking channels on the luxury vinyl planks that I installed.I buy a similar material to make jam chucks for my wood lathe. This is identical but cheaper and larger. Cuts easy and machines well. I would be magine that an average DIYer can find ways to repurpose this when you're finished whacking flooring into place.

This is a must have for installing LVP
I install vinyl plank flooring almost daily. This makes the job so much easier and faster. It will not damage or chip the edges even when having to tap pretty hard.
