It worked!
Was a little tight but snapped together just like it was supposed to. Worked very well with the radio that I bought.

Images are misleading
Be aware: Although the image shown for the package includes the color codes for each wire, the actual harness does not include all the wires. The package suggests there are 18 wires, but my package (for a Honda Ridgeline 1 Gen) only has 14 wires.

This thing was really useful
Okay. So I used this cable to install a Pioneer aftermarket car stereo for the first time, into a Honda Accord 2000. The way that it works is like this:The car wire harness ends in a plastic female connectorTHIS wire harness ends in a plastic male connector that matches the car's connector. You must connect the loose wires of THIS wire harness with the loose wires of the wire harness that comes with the aftermarket stereo. I soldered the wires together, but you can also use crimping (so I have heard). The stereo wire harness ends in a female connector that plugs into the back of the stereo. So, basically you are using this product to connect the car with the stereo. If you don't have something like this, you have to cut the wires that are attached to the car and solder/crimp them directly to the stereo wire harness. I cringe at the thought of doing something like this...I was careful and the stereo worked on the first try. I highly recommend using this for a "1998-Up Honda".You match wires of THIS harness to the stereo harness by matching colours, for the most part. Have the internet handy to search for directions.
