Dragonheart Long ago, when majestic fire-breathers soared through the skies, there lived a knight who would come face-to-face and heart-to-heart with the most remarkable creature that ever existed – the dragon. Dennis Quaid stars with the voice of Academy Award winner Sean Connery in the heroic adventure that blazes with fantasy and humor. Dragonheart is an epic adventure that will thrill the entire family. Dragonheart: A New Beginning When Geoff, an orphaned stable boy (Malcolm in the Middle's Chris Masterson), discovers Drake (the voice of Robby Benson), the world's last living dragon, he realizes that his dream of becoming a knight in shining armor can now come true. Together, they soon face challenges that turn them into heroes. But caught up in the excitement of their new lives, Geoff and Drake fail to see the hidden dangers that surround them. Conquering the enemy may take more than courageous exploits and brave deeds...it may take everything they have. Dragonheart 3: The Sorcerer's Curse When aspiring knight Gareth goes in search of a fallen comet rumored to contain gold, he is shocked to instead find the dragon Drago (voiced by Academy-Award winner Ben Kingsley). After Drago saves Gareth's life the two become intricately bonded, and must work together to defeat an evil sorcerer and stop his reign of terror. Along the way, Gareth learns the true meaning of being a knight in this fantasy action-adventure for the ages! Dragonheart: Battle for the Heartfire Drago the dragon must find an heir to the throne when the king, who shares Drago's heart, dies. The king's potential heirs, twin grandchildren who possess the dragon's unique strengths, use their inherited powers against each other to vie for the throne. When Drago's source of power – known as the Heartfire – is stolen, more than the throne is at stake; the whole country may fall if the siblings' rivalry with swords and sorcery doesn't end.Bonus Content:Disc 1 - Dragonheart: The Making of Dragonheart Feature Commentary with Director Rob Cohen Production Notes Cast and Filmmakers Theatrical TrailerDisc 2 - Dragonheart: A New Beginning: Spotlight on Location: The Making of Dragonheart The Voice of Drake Animating the Dragon Trailer Production Notes Cast and Filmmakers RecommendationsDisc 3 - Dragonheart 3: The Sorcerer's Curse: A Dragon's LifeDisc 4 - Dragonheart: Battle for the Heartfire: The Making of Dragonheart: Battle for the Heartfire The Magic Behind Drago Inside the Castle

The movie series was great, but the case they were in was shattered
The movie series was great, but the case they were in was shattered. The tabs that hold the first DVD in were all broken. The hinge that allows you to flip through the 4 movies was also broken. The first DVD was pretty scuffed up but it played ok. Some pretty rough handling... The other movies in the package were all ok.

Broken box, but who really cares!
The movies and selves are a long time Family favorite. The very first movie or something I watched with my father as a small child. The only reason I do not give this or just five stars is because the Box itself had a crack in it and a small ship out of the bottom. The disks however came in perfect Condition.

It was refreshing to watch and enjoyed. They don't make movies like this anymore
It was refreshing to watch and enjoyed. They don't make movies like this anymore. I was glad to hear the values of honor and when a code of honor meant something especially when the values of PC culture tell you that being honest and upholding the code of honor is wrong. Movies like DragonHeart still show that the code of honor has not died. It can live on

Love Dragon & Shark movies since I can't go anywhere I'm enjoying them with my Dawg. Have anymore suggestions?

Got this for someone as a gag gift.
Know a person who loves the original movie and was horrified to find out they made what appear to be increasingly cheap and pathetic sequels in direct to tv abominations. I haven’t watched it. But the cringing response of the person was worth it.
