Kikkoman MONGOLIAN BEEF Seasoning Mix 1oz (6 Pack)

We love it.

I love this seasoning mix! I hate that my local grocery stores don't carry it any longer, and am incredibly happy to find that I can get it at a reasonable price from Amazon! This Mongolian Beef mix is my favorite of the Kikkoman seasoning packs. It makes fixing Mongolian beef a breeze, and tastes fantastic. The flavors are complex and there is something of a kick to the sauce. I do use two packs of seasoning when fixing a meal, because I like the sauce. I've ordered the seasoning packets multiple times now, and they come securely wrapped, six to a pack. I've only once had an issue with one of the packs being cut, which could have been a packing error, as the cut was inside the shipping package.Update on 3/17/2024 --I really love this product, but out of the last three times I've ordered this, the set of six packets has been damaged in shipment twice, leaving me with five of six packets. Once in a while I don't mind, but twice in three orders is annoying. Especially as with this product, you can't return or replace it if damaged! (In the picture there's clearly a cut in the top package on the bottom left part of the packet.) I'll keep ordering, but as this seems like an issue with the product's packaging, not with Amazon I do think it's worth adding to my initial glowing review.

I can only find this seasoning at Amazon and reasonably priced.

These packets are somewhat weak in flavor. So, I use two packets per meal. The taste is good, but my homemade Mongolian beef sauce is better. At the end of the day, it's great for whipping up a meal of sliced sirloin and sauteed onions.

However, I can taste a lot of cloves in this which I feel as odd for a beef and broccoli dish Asian style. I do not recommend it just cause I don’t like the taste of it and I will not be buying it again.
