Fitted to my HP Elitedesk 800 G4 mini, no problem
Fitted to my HP Elitedesk 800 G4 mini, no problem, though it does not recognise the manufacturer. Also it know that the sodimms are 3200mhz but because the motherboard only allows it they are only running at 2666mhz., that said, from my research, that is what I expected. At least I have not found a way to overcome that yet, but im still looking for a way. They are simple to fit, but as I am an experiance computer person, with more than 30 years of tinkering and upgrading PC's and laptops. starting with 386 processors with MSDOS 5.0 (I think, it was so long ago I for get the number) and windows 3.0 anyway it was 1991.Anyway I digress, for me they were plug and play. as my minidesk top is basicall a HP laptop without a display and keyboard/mouse, I cant see using them in a Laptop being a problem.NOTE for begineers, if you have never handled memory before.1, THESE ARE DDR4 you cant mix and match, you have to replace DDR4 with DDR4 make sure to check what is fitted to your laptop or PC before purchace.2, some older laptops need to have both memory slots filled, not just one!3, some older laptops need to have two identical sticks of memory in the memory slots,4, its not good practice to have memory sticks of diffent brands in your memory slots, its best to have them of identical specification from the same brand to prevent potencial memory glitches. even if your motherbaord does allows memory sticks of different sizes.5, put in as much memory as you can afford, this can help speed up your pc or laptop in my opinion, depending on what applications you are running.Unfortunately I can remember the days when 4 x 1 MB sticks of memory were costing as much as what I have just paid for 64GB!

Very much needed
1 Month In: Still going strong. I read all of the negative reviews and had no where near the same experience. I am loving this RAM so far. I was going to get myself some more and I think I might. I have had some of the worst sticks and so far these are the best ones I have tried. At first the computer did take time to boot up but that's probably just because they were registering the sticks, that's what happens when you install new RAM. The BIOS needs to register the RAM, hence the black screen for a while to begin with. It really works for me and it's the fastest and best I have tried. The old RAM on my PC was a little bit slow and most software was reporting the RAM as being unknown, which hightened my suspicions that it might have been some cheap RAM sticks they put into the system, I may have been right. Read on.This was a much needed replacement and is now being reported in HWInfo, CPU-Z and CMD using WMIC command as being recognised as Corsair RAM at 3200mHz and it gave me a much needed performance boost. I needed the 32GB as I am using software on my PC that is generally high demand on RAM, and this RAM is meeting my needs in multiple ways. Just simply using apps like Word, Powerpoint, Notepad and other softwares got better in performance when switching to this RAM. Even some of the games I play have increased in performance as a result, even though I don't play many games.I also no longer have to rely on Virtual Memory with this much RAM, which is brilliant and allows me to be able to disable Virtual Memory and gave the PC more of a performance boost. Virtual memory is just slower, and generally noticeable if you are using software that uses a large amount of RAM.I tested this RAM on benchmarking software and I was very happy with how the RAM performed under load.Overall, this is very good RAM and I will recommend it for many tasks and if you are looking for a needed performance boost.

Great ram sticks
Upgraded my PC from 16gb to 32gm of ram and for the amount of money spend I can happily say that the product was definetly worth it. Applications not freezing and my games are flying.

A simple and useful upgrade
I have a slightly battered HP laptop which was my son's one from school and recently started using it a bit more and wondered why it was a bit 'sedate', so checked out the available memory to discover it only had one 4GB SODIMM. So acquired this to boost the memory capacity and it took longer to open the laptop up than it did to fit it. It can't be inserted the wrong way round as its 'keyed' and it popped into the empty socket with no problems at all. Closed up the laptop case and booted it, the new memory immediately recognised and its been a bit quicker and more responsove since I fitted it. All in all a simple upgradw with an ideal product for the job.
