So gentle
I bought this brush because I have wavy hair, and I’ve been struggling with …hair loss?! It sounds too dramatic to call it that, but when I was brushing my hair dry and with a normal brush before my shower, my hair was coming out into the hairbrush in wads. Even though I still have lots of hair, it’s just so concerning to see that. So, I researched a bit and saw that sometimes it’s better for people with textured hair to comb it in the shower with lots of conditioner rather than dry.I really like it! I’ve been using it for a couple of months now, and I’m still seeing a fair amount of hair come out into the brush, but I don’t think it’s as much as it was. It’s pretty easy to use, the trick is just to make sure you have enough conditioner in your hair. This is NOT going to be a good time if you try to use the brush pre-shampoo, with shampoo, pre-conditioner, OR post-conditioner (or dry!!!). Your hair needs to be wet with conditioner in it. I’ve used it with the Pattern Lightweight shampoo / conditioner duo, and it’s great. The Pattern conditioner makes your hair really slippery, so the brush is really gentle with that conditioner. I recently received some sample shampoo/conditioners, so I’ve also used it with Oribe hair alchemy and Ouai shampoo/conditioner, and it’s been totally fine with those, too (I just go a little slower since the conditioner isn’t as slippery). To use the brush, just start at the ends and work your way up. Don’t rush it since the whole point is to not break your hair (or in my case… rip it out!).I feel like my curls have been more defined since using this product! I plan to get a mini one for my travel/gym bag.My only, very minor, complaint is that the hole at the top of the brush is a sort of weird shape/width. Maybe it’s just me, but even though it looks like you should be able to hang it on something, it doesn’t fit on any of my hooks.

Works like a Denman brush
I'm black and Asian, and when I let my hair dry naturally I end up with a tangled, frizzy half-fro. Think Dora the explorer, but with more texture. I put this brush in a small travel bag so that whenever I'm out of town (which is often) I can still spray my hair with water and brush it back into a twisty bun. I use a wide comb first, then this, then satin scrunchies and bonnet. The brush detangles my hair easily and makes it look smooth and shiny, with uniform, sculpted waves. This brush is compact while still being easy to grip while dragging through stubborn coils. It's easy to clean - I just give my hair a few brushes every other time I shampoo - not to mention it feels great on my scalp. I love it. At this point I cannot travel without it.I mean, I can, but not without rocking the Dora.

Good solid detangling brush
It hasn’t broke or popped off yet going through my thick 4C hair. I like this brush, it’s strong and durable. I find it works better on my hair when I have the showerhead water angled on the section I’m working with along with conditioner. My daughter on the other hand just needs wet hair and conditioner but her strands are finer. Detangling her hair is a breeze.Side note- I mainly detangle holding the brush vertically.

Great product for some
I noticed that when my hair was thinner, I thought this product was the best! When my hair began to thicken, however, it took me much longer to brush through my hair. I had to brush it in small sections, but it still works. I would recommend this product to ladies with thinner hair or a finer texture

Easy to detangle
The media could not be loaded. First time using a detangling brush and I was first skeptical because I have 4c hair….BUT she did the job. I’m obsessed with this brush. It’s lightweight but effective. So easy to clean. 10 out of 10 recommend.

Curly non-kinky hair review
I'm obsessed! Three stars because of how quickly it came unglued. If it's a shower brush, it really should be made to withstand regular use in the shower with water.... that aside it is my absolute favorite brush. I have curly hair, but also scalp psoriasis. This is so comfy to use and my hair looks great, no pulling.

Excellent
Great quality brush. Thick material. Great for thick and long curly hair the bristles are strong, but flexible so they pull too hard and hurt while combing out knots.
