Perfect replacement for the $900 module from Toyota
I installed this on a 2004 Lexus SC430 to replace the OEM one that had water intrusion. The older cars had D2/D2S bulbs which are rare now and the parts are expensive from a dealer. This module works great, its been in the car for about a month now with no issues.Installation can vary, on my car it was a 2-3 hour process to remove the front bumper and then the headlights. The new module looks identical to the old one and fits in the headlight housing perfectly. Even if it only lasts a quarter of the time of the original, its still a massive bargain.

Quality
Not one to usually leave reviews but i had ordered a balance from another company prior. It was a cheaper price but did not last long at all. Then had to go to the whole trouble of removing the bumper. Taking out the headlights and doing the job again. Received this one just a little while ago. Got it in on Lexus is300. Fixed my problem right away. The packaging was great. The quality on this one seems better plus a sheet explaining instructions for removal.so far so good. We'll see about the longevity of it, but I would say spend the extra you see those ones floating around for $33. It's better to go ahead and spend the extra especially if you're getting a lifetime warranty this is the one you should purchase!

Very good value and performance
Installation is difficult. If you remove the head like the instructions show it will save a lot of heartache. I chose not to remove the head and instead remove the small internal standoff which was incredibly frustrating. The actual unit seems to work great though. I went ahead and replaced both bulbs as well. My symptoms were the light would initially work but within 10 minutes it would begin to flicker frequently. Shortly after the flickering started the light would go out. Turning the headlights off and back on would restore the light but would quickly go out again. So far the ballast has corrected all of the issues. Great price! Hoping it lasts!

AMAZING customer service from GenXenon
I needed to replace the ballast on my 2002 Lexus RX 300 and this looked like it would do the trick. The unit I received was about a millimeter and a half thicker than the original part and wouldn’t seat completely. See the photo. The ballast got wedged in the metal bracket/housing that holds it inside the headlight assembly. I had to use pliers pull it out and I damaged the part in the process. This ballast will probably work in other vehicles where it is screwed in place on the outside of the headlight assembly but the one I received would not fit the headlight housing on my car. That being said, while I stand by what I wrote above about my experience, their customer service was truly outstanding. I was pretty salty in my email to them and initially posted a low review. I appreciate their fast response on a Saturday and their total willingness to make things right. They offered me many solutions and sent photos of their product compared to OEM parts to demonstrate the typical size and tolerances they work with. I'm not an expert on this part but, in the end, I think the one I received was probably an anomaly (or my headlight assembly is). If I had had more time and my car hadn't been in pieces on the driveway, I would have accepted the replacement part they offered and tried again. Thanks to GenXenon for being awesome and putting up with my regrettably sh*tty attitude. :-|As a side note, I really liked that the bulb socket on the cable could be removed so easily. This allows you to feed the cable through the headlight housing without screwing up the alignment of the bulb to make room for the entire socket to feed through. You have to remove the metal cover from the socket and flex a couple plastic tabs to take it apart but it's easy and the instructions are clear. Plus it's a WAY better approach than having to adjust the headlight out of the way (and likely screwing up your headlight alignment in the process).Again, thanks GenXenon. I appreciate all your help.

Exact fit, great value
Have an old limited trim Sienna and unfortunately it has factory HIDs. The cost for oem is crazy and since it's already high mileage I didn't want to pay so much for a new ballast but can't drive without headlights. I found this one and it seemed like a good deal. I've had it installed for a month now and so far it's running great. Install wasn't hard, the pins are the same and it just screwed in easily to the housing. We'll see how long it holds up, but for now I'd definitely recommend it.
