Q: Can you reseal the jar after opening? I want to be able to use the product when we have quests and then put in away until the next quest arrives.

When first opening, just remove the cardboard seal under the cap and save it. Put the seal back on when done

Yes. All of our products are cruelty free and never tested on animals.

Q: Does it work to remove cigar or ciggarette smell?

Yes. You have to shake the jar occasionally to keep it working but Yes. I smoke cigars and use it specifically for that purpose.

Q: Can this be placed in a mesh bag and placed in a return air duct of a furnace?

No and just some advice. If the smell is in your furnace, that would not be a resolution. These are meant to sit on a counter or desk or table and as they breakdown they refresh the air.
