Excellent, quick read...
This book is excellent. Experienced professionals dishing out their knowledge in a very clear and informative way with tips and real life examples that help the reader understand not only how to negotiate (not just real estate), but how the real estate investing world works. The book is not dedicated to the investments per se, but does a fairly deep dive while exploring all of the facets that go into a negotiation. I read the book in two days (291 pages) as it had a great flow and was entertaining...while being highly informative. The only negative? There are a lot of typos (grammatical errors), sometimes doubled words or couples of words, but these are real estate investment experts, not seasoned authors.

Learned TONS!
I've been a BP fan for nearly 3 years and have been in my learning phase that entire time - THIS book has made me feel the most comfortable with the actual nuts and bolts of RE transactions! It's not just a book on negotiating, and didn't feel like we were learning hypothetical. It's the perfect balance of surface level concepts with actual, actionable tips you can use! Wish I'd found it sooner!

Really helpful in terms of strategy and mindset
Negotiation feels less scary with these strategies, emphasis on gathering information, being politely persistent and looking for win win solutions. One thing I really appreciate about Bigger Pockets is their commitment to promoting ethical, reciprocal behavior, which I understand is not always the case in the real estate space. Its about developing good relationships for the long term win.

Another Winner
As soon as I heard J was putting out another book, I had to have it. Having read his previous two books on rehab flips and estimating rehab costs, I knew at this point that he consistently puts out great and useful information, and this entry is no exception. I assumed going into this that I would probably know most of the tricks but I soon realized that I was very wrong. There are tons of golden nuggets in this one and worth multiple reads to absorb all of the information. Highly recommend it to anyone interested in the topic of negotiation. Thanks again, J!

Awesome Educational Read!
Awesome educational read! My favorite part was the breaking down of specific price points and all the factors to be considered on both sides of the negotiation. Each party of the negotiation has their own goals and while price is important, it's not the only component. There's many other terms to consider, such as closing date, closing costs, repairs, personal property, seller financing, etc. I now understand that you must think of each negotiation as a multi-dimensional experience. Thank you!

Solid Advice
I found this book to be very informative for dealing in real estate negotiations. It provides a lot of the scenarios that an investor could encounter. The only complaint is when the audio includes a high pitched bell on the "tips". This is ear piercing. Should one try to use a headset it could damage hearing. Could this be changed?
