Small but incredibly effective, these fans are great value for money. The noise level is good, the airflow is impressive and the cooling effect is five star. Delivered quickly, easy to put together. Well worth buying.

It was pretty easy to assemble and does its job well. The only downside is how noisy it is. You learn to block it out eventually.

I bought this as a work office fan a couple of weeks ago, getting ready for a too-hot summer. The assembly instructions are not very clear, tiny print too, but there's only about 5 pieces to this puzzle, and it took maybe 10 minutes to put together after one false start. One tiny screw and some clips and that's it. Assembled, firstly this fan is QUIET. I emphasise this, as I've bought a few 'quiet' fans that were anything but. It's made of lightweight plastic, and the whirr of the fan is barely audible (maybe because of the size?). I bought the two-speed version, and it's still quite powerful. I'm very happy with this, and will be buying another one or two for home.

I bought the 9 inch version, and it is placed three feet away from me when I'm working at my desk. The airflow is strong at the lowest setting, but is quite noisy (I can hear it when I am listening to music with my isolating in-ear earphones - I thought someone was using a strimmer to cut the grass outside only to find out that the fan was making the noise).Overall, I consider it good value for money for the price I paid for it, butI am willing to pay more money for a quieter and more compact form-factor next time.

Would say it is a bit fiddly to fit the top grill, and I have small fingers, but once it was on its fine. I've not used it through the night, which is what I bought it for, but just trying it out next to my bed and getting it in the right position, it does seem really quiet, was in two minds to get it or not but glad I have

This fan is so poor, it’s currently running at the lowest speed and it sounds like a motorcycle engine.I thought it would be so quiet because it’s so small but it has a deep growl like sound. Bad value for money, avoid buying this and go for a better quality fan.I will be returning this once I have more time, it’s a shame.

Consider spending an extra couple of quid and getting a more sturdy one. This one is pretty decent, but it is rather loud!
