GREAT AMP FOR THE $$
Seems like a well built product. Would be nice if the screw terminals for power and speakers was the set screw style, using an allen wrench. I don't have the Equipment to test it's true RMS power output. Here are a couple pics of the guts. Not too bad for 80 bucks don't ya know ... I got a feeling this amp is gonna make my 8" Mid Bass drivers throw down in bridged mode.

Didn't last but 5 months.
I was impressed with the price and the sound for the money. The only problem is after installing the amp it stopped working after about 5 months. The amp sounded great while it worked. Their 90 day warranty is pitiful. That says it all how confident Soundstream is in their amps. Ps. I'm a licensed electrician and been installing stereos since I was 17 . I'm 56 now.

Hope it makes it, Gets really hot.
I know this is not a super high quality amp, but even after watching amp Dyno’s on YouTube this puts more than enough to run my mids and highs. As far as sound and power I have no real complaints. My worry is the heat. This amp gets crazy hot. I can touch it for about 2 seconds before I have to remove my hand. I tuned the amp down to about 20% power to try to resolve it, which is about right for my speakers anyway. It’s still just as hot. I wish they installed some type of fan. Time will tell if it’s gunna burn itself out. I’m running this with 4 gauge power and ground and 12g speaker wire (seems overkill). All power and ground connections were triple checked. Will update if it quits on me.*Update* week or so later still uncomfortably hot added spacers. Now it seems to only get incredibly hot in one corner. I wanted to take off the back plate and add spacers, but if done will loose warranty and will loose pegs to attach amp. Will try this out for a bit and see how it goes. Possibly thinking of taking out back plate and cutting out a giant hole for it to breath, Also thinking of getting fans for it but not sure if I want to go that route either.*Update* installed a cross flow fan in the hot corner and it did well in short trips, got 2 computer fans and this seems to be the trick for any length of time. The amp is dialed down to only 20%. I will state at normal volume the amp does fine but when volume is cranked is when the heating issue gets bad. It’s just a badly designed cheap amp. It’s pushing 2 jbl 6.5 component sets which is easy enough for a cheap head unit to do, but this struggles.****update lasted till 4/1/2024 so 3 years for 100 bucks, worth it, ordered another one.
