PMI Advantage NFPA Helmet-White

Fits great, very adjustable, great for cell towers. The price may seem high but $250 is a lot cheaper than the hospital bill you’d have by going cheaper.

DISCLAIMER: First, let me express that I do NOT condone re painting safety helmets as the process could potentially damage your helmet if done incorrectly and will almost certainly void any warranty for the product!!!This helmet is exactly what I was looking for! I am a professional firefighter and frequently deal with accident scenes and extrications and our standard issue fire helmets are far too heavy and bulky for work in and around overturned vehicles. I needed a lightweight lid that would offer all the protection I require for the job. The PMI Advantage fits the bill perfectly.My department requires that any helmet we use be NFPA 1951 and it must be the same color as our issued helmet, in this case, yellow. Unfortunately there was not an option for yellow, so I decided to take it upon myself to alter the helmet. A very light wet sanding with 500 grit was all that was needed to remove the gloss coat WITHOUT causing any deep gouging that would compromise the structural integrity of the shell. Then several light coats of rust-oleum 2x hard hat paint followed by a couple light coats of rust-oleum 2x clear coat to return the protective gloss layer.I put this helmet into service yesterday and I am looking forward to being able to use it the next time the need arises. Although pricey compared to other options on the market, I highly recommend checking out this helmet.Don’t be cheap when it comes to your safety!!!

Quality hardhat that meets ansi Z89.1 type 1 and 2 with electrical class G protection.A great but pricey alternative construction hardhat. Mind you guys it was designed for rescue teams.Pic included of the protection specs that were very vague on the manufacturer website. So it will satisfy general contractor requirements as the industry is shifting to the climber type harhats

Much more comfortable and lighter than the new Milwaukee hardhat that our company is requiring us to wear.

It's easy to attach items to this. This Hh is perfect for climbing and it's comfortable for long days. It allows air up, and around your head perfectly for a full hh.get one asap. Price is perfect. Can't put a price on your safety! This is my second pmi. I don't think I'll go with anything else, ever.
