Best ever
The quality and features are the best. It even adjusts to the size wire you’re using to make it watertight. The locking connector is the best so movement or bumping of it will not lose connection. This a must have. Replace that old plug with this one.

Great for other uses as well
These work great for other purposes as well. I use them for quick attaching my boat winch to the inside bed of my truck. That way I don't need to leave 6' of wire hanging from by trailer or truck. They have a nice waterproof seal that fits nice and tight as well. I have 3 installed and have never had one fail.

Not a full water seal
At first this seemed perfect. Wiring was easy and solid. Intallation was easy.. connection is solid.HOWEVER, regarding being waterproof, the rubber cap on the receptacle does not fit tight and comes off. Also the plug is open at the wire end and does not form any barrier to moisture.I would return it but I would have to remove it and then install another which would involve drilling another hole in my boat.If I can get a new cap for the outlet maybe the would be worth a try even though it involves removeing and reinstalling.UPDATEI contacted the seller and they will send a replacement cap. Also they explained that the plug wire is not sealed to allow for differences in wire size. I used electrical tape to seal the gapUPDATEYou might consider getting two and use the second plug to attach a solar charger to the battery without having a second connection to the battery directly

Great receptacle set
These trolling motor plug receptacles are great.They feel sturdy and solid. They plug into each other and lock together. They accept up to a 6 AWG wire which are great for high voltage and amps. You will want to make sure you have a good seal around the wires entering the receptacles so there is no issue of rusting or corroding.These are much better than the ones I used before.

Love this plug. So much better than the old style I had!
This plug is great! Super easy to install and use. Love that it’s auto locking. Its low profile requires a smaller whole and is all around impressive! I have recommended this plug to several buddies now too! Great product! I am running a Quest Ulterra 36v off of a single lifepo4 36v 100ah battery.

Very good quality
It’s very good quality I replaced the ones on my kayak And no issues, if anyone has an Oldtown kayak I suggest replacing those stock plugs with these

Great disconnect
Used this to be able to disconnect and remove my trolling motor on my Creek boat. Works flawlessly.

Nice locking connection, put electrical grease on contactors to prevent corrosion from saltwater
This makes connecting a trolling motor much more secure so it doesnt just fall out. The design is pretty decent and has a rubber gasket to keep water out of the port which is nice. I would put electrical grease on the connectors though to try and slow down any corrosion that may form on the contactors. It doesnt feel like a knock off of something else and fits together well, I do think its worth the money compared to other trolling motor plugs I was looking at and would put another one on the next boat I get.
