Great flying ‘Hog!!
The media could not be loaded. Great flying edf jet! Not a good first plane but probably a good first jet. Very predictable flight characteristics with no bad tendencies. I set it up per manual specs other than reducing some of the down elevator mix on landing flaps (my preference) the book setup is perfect. Flies good with ordinance attached as well. Very effective rudder controls snap it around quickly. Not a slow flyer either, had it over 100mph according to the Spektrum GPS telemetry module. I highly recommend this ‘Hog to anyone with some RC airplane experience who wants a great flying jet!

Fun!
Took this out of the box and assembled in about 20 minutes. Don't forget to get all the other goodies or you will NOT be flying. Anyways, with fully charged batteries I flew it down my street, my neighbors loved it.

Awesome!!!
The E-flite A-10 is Kickass!Handled great off our grass runway, taking off and landing. This is a fast model that can do some insane maneuvers. Snap rolls are easy and the model slows down nicely. Just a touch of power as you land.

2nd A-10 64mm, More expenses for complete functions
This is the 2nd A10 64 mm I've purchased. The first was my first EDF plane in October 2021. I agree with the the weak nose gear. mine sheared off on landing too fast not enough flare. 5000 mah battery. The hole plane It held up pretty well. I had to do a grass landing once but would not recommend for grass take off. I fly with a 4000 mah battery. The aircraft is simple fast and aerobatic.I sold it because I was moving. This new version I purchase with the advertisement of reverse thrust. I put it together, Bind and tried to program the esc. Only found out after full assembly that On Page 12 it says. "The Avian Smart ESC in this aircraft is equipped with thrust reversing, but it must be enabled before it will function. (SPMXCA200 programming box required, not included."That box cost another $30.00 plus shipping. So this now becomes and airplane that cost $460+ to use full functions. This has happened with Horizen Hobby products before. Not forth coming on the full cost. If you can find the previous version it flies great.

Front Landing Gear isn't robust enough
I do believe that a more robust nose landing gear is needed to support the weight and landing speed required by this plane for other than asphalt runway landing. My experience landing in grass was not one I can be happy with. The pin that holds the wheel to the retract assembly snapped right after the plane touched down and bleeding off momentum causing multiple damages to the nose, ordnance, and wings. I would suggest using smaller packs (i.e. 3200) if landing or surfaces other that asphalt, or consider other similar models. Plane looks very nice and flies very well over all. I just hope that e-flite will some more effort to improve this model, being sub $500.

FRONT GEAR IS WEAK HOWEVER…
The front gear out of the box is weak and WILL break on you unless you land absolutely perfectly every time. However they do sell a replacement assembly with a metal rod down the middle instead of plastic covered with a piece of aluminum. They are super easy to switch out and will make the front gear much stronger. Other than landing it the plane is an absolute blast and definitely worth the money IF YOU HAVE THE SKILL to fly don’t attempt as a first airplane.

Beware COG..
Put largest recommended bat.. (don't do that.. the battery at the furthest back position (front strap not even holding battery)would balance about .5in back from Wwing's leading edge... but that wasn't enough... it barely took off... once in air needed full power and full elevator to maintain slight climb. Unsustainable... result in slide slip in first bank to bring back for landing... smash. Done.lame
