My fan or light isn’t turning on. I’ve changed the remote batteries

Have you checked it’s not been switched off at the light switch? Also how does it respond with the FanLamp Pro app

How far down from the ceiling is this fan?

Standard height.. every other function works with the remote , but the pairing with Bluetooth app doesn’t work

Does this work with the Home Assistant system?

you turn the fan off with Alexa, if so how?

Our smart fan will be connected to Alexa as 2 separate devices, one device is the light, the other is the fan, so you need to rename the devices, for example, name light as "chanfok light", name the fan as " chanfok fan". There's no control page for the fan, But you can still control the fan by voice. just say "Alexa, turn on/off the chanfok fan." "Alexa, set the chanfok fan to speed 6." That will work.
