Sony Playstation Portable (PSP) 3000 Series Handheld Gaming Console System - Blue (Renewed)

Showed up working just fine charger works great slight problem with the screen that's not very noticeable when the psp is on other then that I have no complaints

I bought a PSP 3000.It said renewed,said the item was in good condition,(like new)I received the item.it was dirty & had dirt all over the back.and the game slot would not stay closed.Mind you I played $250 for this item and this product.If I'm paying that much the item should be in pristine condition with no errors because honestly anything less is not worth it.Considering when they came out they weren't even that much brand New.I Only paid that crazy asking price because I thought I was getting a good product.The product was not good.And it would not connect to internet I tried several times to connect it to internet it would not connect.Even went as far as to connect my internet provider to change settings so I could make special adjustments.It still would not work.So I couldn't even get the basic update.Product shell itself was not too heavily damaged little to minimal scratches but the inside underneath the buttons and around those little spaces you can tell there was lots of caked up dirt.Every time I put a game in it,it rattled heavily like it was only a matter of time before it stopped working.I can't speak for this sellers other merchandise that he may or may not sell,but as far as his PSPs & or PlayStation portables,they are crap do not buy one.Save your money and go on ebay like I should've.

The console itself is amazing I'm very happy with it there's very little flaws anywhere on it however the power cable they include only functions if the barrel is in a specific angle and only in that one position I would have given five stars if they gave it quality charger for it but the charger is one of the cheapest cables in general I've ever touched console itself is great charger sucks

Refurbished but works great!

Despite paying for expedited delivery package was still 3 days late, also poor quality of product, screws are rusted and charger provided by the seller was for an android phone not at all near the charger needed to power up the system, so now I have to wait for a battery or cable to see if the psp even works

I don't leave a lot of reviews, but this warranted one so future buyers can know what they are getting into. This item was knowingly bought "refurbished" which to me means used, but functional. It was not functional when it arrived for a variety of reasons. I initially thought it would not charge because the battery door was so loose it would fall off for no reason whatsoever but it ended up being more than that. The battery that was in the unit was very badly bulged and the door would not have stayed on no matter what due to the pressure it put on it. I also discovered the charge port is worn out so that even with a good battery, it will never charge from the charge port. It will charge from a USB connection, but the unit has to turned on for that to work, so out of the box that was not an option. Cosmetically it was in good condition, but I would have preferred some blemishes to getting a unit with power/battery issues that made it unusable without buying a bunch of extra stuff. Apparently this is so common a little card was included telling you to contact them directly in the event that happens, but the chat bot I was directed to was very limited, and resulted in me initiating a return. When I requested a return a label was not made available to me right away, that took several days, and when I did receive one, I was responsible for paying shipping. I ended up deciding to keep the unit because the return process gave me a bad feeling about actually getting a refund. In the end I had to purchase replacement batteries, a replacement battery door, an external battery charger, and a replacement charge port that will require me to take the unit apart and perform surgery on it if I ever want to charge the unit from the included aftermarket charger. Do not buy one of these if you aren't willing to buy some extra parts and possibly disassemble the PSP. On a side note, a lot of the aftermarket parts I ordered for the PSP (from different sellers) were also defective or of very poor quality. If you're going to dive into the world of retro PSP gaming, be prepared for a lot of false starts and headaches. It was a very Ali Express experience all around. Not what I would expect from Amazon.
