I brought the nextstar for my cavapoo, because I was so pleased with the results of Capstar, and decided to keep with the same company for my dogs flea drops. I read the reviews and almost all were really good. So how disappointed was I that my poor dog has still got small fleas .I phoned the help line and they was very nice, however said if my home has fleas they will go on my dog, I gone through my house everyday. Sprayed everywhere with Raid for fleas an carpet, put flea traps out - none in traps!.I’m so disappointed, I thought the whole idea was if I took my dog out and he got fleas on him the nextstar would deal with them, but no.Should have got front line ! Up date —- had o phone call from the company who was extremely helpful , I’d been advised I could safely use the cap star on my dog even though he had the nextstar drops on him. Which I’ve done— he now appears to be flea free!. Not sure if to keep with nextstar or send it back- definitely will always have capstan in my house.

Works great for my pet

I purchased the NEXTSTAR Flea and Tick Prevention for Dogs for my small dog and found it to be very easy to use. The topical application was a breeze and the small dog size was perfect for my pup. However, I do wish that the product had more natural ingredients. Additionally, my dog did experience some sickness after using the product, but this is not uncommon for him with most flea medications. Overall, I would recommend this product for small dogs in need of flea and tick prevention.

The fleas are awful this year and this stuff could not cut it. Worked ok for 15 days but then the fleas were horrible again. I had to get the vet stuff and now my flea issue is resolved. I tried to save some money but you get what you pay for. I have 4 dogs and 3 cats to treat. I wouldn't waste your time if you have a big flea problem because this stuff won't cut it.
