I love the scriptures and the pictures on these cards.

A sympathy card should be filled with words that touch the broken heart of your friend to the point of bringing hope in their deepest despair. Few cards today offer anything close to that. I turned to Dayspring because they represent a Christian perspective. But after purchasing 2 boxes of their sympathy cards, I found the texts to be shallow and limited. My friends in Israel have lost their only daughter. A card that says, "With Heartfelt Sympathy" doesn't begin to touch the deepest pain of their brokenness. As followers of the suffering Messiah, we should try harder. Dayspring has the resources from the Bible's countless stories where mankind's brokenness is touched by God's ever-reaching mercy to meet us in our time of need. As a man who has lost much myself, I would happily spend much more to send a beautiful sympathy card that speaks to my friend's brokenness while offering words of compassion from our Heavenly Father. (To Dayspring, I am a published author and would gladly pen some lines for others whose hearts are shattered by death's sting and seeking hope.)

I like to have these on hand in case I need to send them to people within the same family group who have suffered a loss. I don't want to send each family member the same card, so the assortment works well for me. It's a reasonable price for what you get.
