Resolved my TV eArc limitations with my Sonos Arc!
I recently bought a new Sonos Arc soundbar but hooked up to an older 2016 Vizio M65-E0 4K TV that does not support eARC. Other devices attached to this TV is an 4K AppleTV, PS5, and Nintendo Switch. This TV’s regular ARC output downgraded some of the sound quality to my Sonos Arc especially since it could not passthrough Dolby Atmos. I was not yet ready to upgrade this TV especially since the picture quality was great and worked perfectly fine for my purposes (tv/movie watching and casual console gaming).Upon extensive research, many Sonos Arc owners recommended the HDFury Arcana device, but I found it to be very expensive ($300 New; $220+ Used). I was lucky to stumble upon a Reddit post recommending this device, so I checked it out and saw the few but excellent reviews from a reputable seller. One of the biggest pros is that it was a third a price of the Arcana. I took the risk and bought this device to see if it would work with my setup.I found the instructions to be very thorough and I was glad to see breakdowns of each connection option/scenario at the end of the manual, which helped me decide my setup. After I finished setting it up, I was ecstatic and blown away that it worked perfectly. I now receive clear Dolby Atmos sound from my AppleTV 4K to my Sonos Arc soundbar and glad to see that it still passed through 4K Dolby Vision 4:4:4 at 60hz (and 24hz during movies). HDMI CEC also still works so I am able to turn all connected devices on/off and control the Sonos Arc volume using my Apple TV or Vizio remotes.Glad I purchased this device. Works as advertised and cheaper than the other solution. Highly recommended!

It works great!
Was trying to connect Apple tv, an old Samsung UN55C6300SFXZA tv (2010 maybe) and Samsung HW-S60D with eARC. Very simple plug-n-play setup. Samsung tv has Samsung Anynet +. Able to turn all devices on and off with Apple tv remote. Have used for two weeks now with no issues and sound / picture quality is excellent. I wish I knew about this device sooner. The device is very well made and thin. I have mounted on the back of the television with the Apple tv. If you are in a situation where you would like to install a soundbar using hdmi that only has an eARC port, your tv supports hdmi-CEC (Anynet+ …etc) and have a 4k Apple tv this product should work for you. I believe an older model Apple tv might work as long as it supports hdmi 2.0

Does not stable for Bose Soundbar / %5 works %95 not
I bought this device for my bose home theater soundbar, whether the device works or not depends on your luck at that moment, unfortunately, there is nothing I haven't tried, sometimes I spend hours to hear the sound, the sound still doesn't play, sometimes it works when I turn it on and off. very sad,I spend for this device almost 250$ including customs duties in my country. Yes, I regret buying it :(Edit: Somehow I don't understand, it has started to work without doing anything for the last 1 week,I hope it will continue like this. I am very happy with the current situation

Works with projector!
Was looking for an option that would allow me to connect my Sonos sound bar with my new projector which does not have ARC or eARC. Had read on forums about this one other device that people were using to make the setup work, but it seemed overpriced to me. I was generally unsure about going with an unknown or niche brand for something like this, but took the risk here, and I'm glad it did. It seems to be a solid good quality device and works as stated. I can confirm its delivering 4k video to my projector, dolby atmos sound to my Sonos system from my Nvidia shield. Then there's still 2 other HDMI spots to spare, which I have used one to hook up a Nintendo switch. Switching from Shield to Nintendo works fine. Input auto switches to Nintendo when you turn it on, but unfortunately the Shield doesn't seem to do that, so either the U9 device or its IR remote must be in reach. I found that, when I power off the Nintendo, the device will automatically switch to the next HDMI input in order, so as a small work around, having the Nvidia plugged in after the Nintendo means I mostly don't have to get up.

Generally works
Works as intended except I kept running into an issue where switching inputs stopped audio from working (Sonos Arc) and had to reboot the device to get it back. Ended up just spending the money to the the Arcana Fury which has been ok when switching inputs.

Perfect and affordable solution for getting Dolby Atmos through an older TV w/o eARC.
My Setup:65 in LG OLED from 2016 w/o eARCApple TV 4KSonos ARCSince my TV was lacking an eARC, I wasnt able to get Dobly Atmos from Apple TV to my Sonos ARC. I love my TV and the picture quality so wasn't planning on upgrading it anytime soon. Came across the U9 switch while I was searching for HD Fury and I'm glad I did. Switch works exactly as described for a 1/3 of the price.I had a minor issue when setting up the switch. I followed the instructions but was getting a black screen. I went into the Apple TV settings and did a "reset video settings" and the issue was resolved. I've since added a ps5 to the switch and both input devices work flawlessly. Hope this review helps if anyone has a similar use case!

Works fantastic at half the cost
Like other reviewers, I stumbled across the U9 ViewHD on a Reddit post while searching for alternatives to the very expensive HDFury Arcana. The unit worked straight out of the box and the instructions were clear and concise. Auto-switch works as expected, though there is an included remote in case it doesn’t. I can’t comment yet about the longevity of the U9, but it looks to be made of high quality materials, and as other reviewers have mentioned, is much smaller than it appears in the product pics.*UPDATE* I spoke too soon; the auto-switch input does not work for my Apple TV 4K or XSX. It will work for my PS5for some reason, but I can’t figure out why. I tried reaching out to support but have not yet received a response. Dropping 1 star until this can be resolved, or I at least get a reply from support.
