I really like this protein powder, it mixes well in my shaker and tastes nice with water without and artificial aftertaste despite the fact it does have sucralose in it (Not a fan). It has a good protein content but I don't like that they've spiked it with BCAA's, this is a cost cutting exercise I feel. On the whole though this is a good protein isolate and I think good value for the serving quantity.

Nutritionally this is spot on for what I am looking for. Very low fat and carbs with a good protein concentration and no unnecessary additives. Unfortunately it is not the best at mixing and tends to clump a bit until it finally gives in and mixes after a couple of minutes of shaking. The taste also is really not great. Made with the suggested amount of water it lacks a strong chocolate flavour but also has a hint of a soapy/ chemical taste.There’s definitely better tasting whey proteins out there but it’s always a bit of trade off between price, taste and macros. On the balance of those I don’t think this will become my go-to product.

I have to admit that I'm not super fussy when it comes to the taste/consistency of Whey protein. I usually mix it with water and down it after a workout or add it into porridge and so it's not something I feel I have to enjoy... as long as it tastes 'OK' and mixes 'well enough' then I'll buy it as long as the nutritional contents are where I'd like them to be.So, with this protein, you're looking at 25grams of protein per a 30gram serving. This is solid and about what I expect. I (and probably most people) will bump that 30gram serving up to around 40grams or 50grams of powder per a time, which will give you a more ideal amount of protein for recovery/mass building post workout.The amount of carbs and fats (and therefore calories) are minimal and so you can take this with water knowing that you are adding only protein to your diet.The taste is great. It's not hugely important to me, but I would say this tastes like a slightly weakened chocolate milkshake. Similarly, it has a good consistency when mixed with water and shaken thoroughly in a shaker bottle.SO, overall, I'm happy with this protein. As I said, I'm not overly fussy when it comes to protein anyway, but it's a nice bonus that this one tastes great and mixes well in addition to having solid nutritional values.

Considering i've never had any products from Genetic Supplements before i was actually really impressed with this protein powder.I'm currently trying to cut weight so am down on my calories at the moment so was really happy to see that this protein powder is not only low fat its low in carbs & sugar but even has BCAA's in the blend which has been proven to help maintain muscle mass on a cut as well as aid in fuelling your workouts & recovery after a long training session too, but if that wasn't enough its also packed full of protein goodness as every scoop is 86% protein.I've been mixing it in my shaker with water & its mixed flawless every single time with zero lumps.As for flavour i went with a standard chocolate which i thought tasted really good although after seeing they do a Toffee Fudge flavour i already know which one i want to try next time around.Price wise it's not actually too bad, certainly not the cheapest protein powder i've tried in the past but i would say it is one of the better protein powders i've tried over the last 12+ years & it surprisingly works out to just 89p per serving which i thought was amazing value for money.It's definitely something i would buy again & recommend to others.
