JSD Intercooler Compatible with Ford 6.0L Aluminum Intercooler fits 2003-2007 Excursion F250 F350 F450 F550 3C3Z6K775AA

Great product, thicker by 1/4", all aluminum, nice welds. Direct fit for my 2005 Excursion 6.0l. Only complaint I had was the opening on the passenger side, its bigger than the stock one, so we ended up using some liberal amounts of WD40 to get the boot on, but aside from that, great product this far works really well.

I replaced stock with this as a preventative measure. Full aluminum vs plastic and aluminum. The fit was perfect. Had trouble fitting boots (mishimoto) over inlet and outlet had to stretch the hell out of them. May be placebo but notice a tad better throttle response and and EGTs seem to be down 25-50 degrees. New one seems 0.25" thicker and well built/cast. By the way the seller is awesome! 1st part came damaged and they shipped a 2nd no questions asked!!

This intercooler fixed my issues and is a huge upgrade to stock ford part. However I was very concerned it could have been damaged by the poor packaging. This intercooler is a excellent replacement so ( 5 stars ) from me they just need better packaging.

First off. After sitting on the side of the highway pulling a 30ft car hauler and a split factory intercooler and repairing with hose clamps. I ordered this on the road. I was impressed with the construction of it. Cast aluminum tanks. All welded joints. Considerably heavier than the factory. The only issue I had was the tab that it sets on. A little off. But I give it a 99 out of 100

Inlet side is too large for hot side boot to go on. Once installed with new boot the core expanded due to the core tubes being to thin. Had to order a new one went name brand this time. Spend the money up front for name brand and don’t waste your money with this one.

Service was good, the shipping was good, the intercooler fits into place but the connections are too big.If you have the updated ABS cold side hose from Ford, it will not fit this intercooler. If you have rubber hoses, it should work fine.

I bout this for my 2006 f250 6.0 powerstroke to go along with all my charge air upgrades and for the price. I can say it does the job.The welds aren't pretty and kinda sloppy in some places but they will hold. There were actually 2 spots that the welds missed the seam so there was exposed gap. In my case I welded those 2 spots and kept going about my day.I will say the fitment is perfect. Absolutely zero fitment issues. Slid right into the stock mounting location.Besides the welds, this Intercooler is very robust. It doesn't feel cheaply made. It is a very solid construction and I wouldn't be scared to put 60 lbs of boost to it. The inlet and outlet some people said they had issues getting their boots on, I didn't have that issue. Mine slid right on and the inlet and outlet have not only a ridge to keep your clamp in place but are also slightly textured to reinforce clamp placement.Overall I would buy again and it was worth the money. And if you are OK without the name brand want to save some money. This is for you.

Fits in great and the construction is robust. My original leaked everywhere so I am looking forward to better fuel mileage and power!
