Ohuhu- 60 Alcohol Markers
On the day that I received the markers, there were a few that leaked. I snapped a picture and emailed the Ohuhu team right away. I got a respond within a day from Anna, who recommended that they replace the leaked markers. They were quick with a resolution and I appreciate that.As a 41 year old woman who has crippling anxiety and depression, my one happy relieve is coloring (it helps calm the noise inside my head). I am working to save money to one day purchase the bigger batch of Ohuhu markers since I know I’ll run out of them soon. . They color really nicely and blend very well, much better than the water based markers.

great quality for the price! similar to Copic
I’ve had a few Copic markers overtime but they aren’t very affordable. This set has a great color variety and I love the thin and thick options on each side or the marker. Not very streaky maybe a little more streaky than copic. Just use the colorless blender over it before it dries for a smoother look, the paper you use matters a lot for smoothness as well.

Wish I could give 10 stars.....
Ohuhu ROCKS! Here is my recent, personal experience with Ohuhu. I love to color with markers and I’ve purchased hundreds of them trying to find the perfect colors, smoothness, perferred dual tips, etc. all for a great price. Ohuhu has stolen my heart and has met all of my preferences and more!In April, I purchased a set of 60 Ohuhu markers. I was very impressed with how the colors were so bold and that they were true variations in shade. My projects looks amazing! No streaking. No skipping. After a couple months, several of my markers had began to dry out. I researched how to “wake up” markers after they’ve dried out for continued usage but nothing suggested worked. No problem. I got great usage from them. So, just recently (August 2018), I decided to purchase from Ohuhu again but this time just a set of 40 markers to go along with the set from my April purchase. I was excited to get them because I knew I’d get the same great experience I did when I purchased in April. When my markers arrived, Ohuhu had placed a small coupon card inside bag of markers which also included their email address and some great FAQ’s on the back. To my surprise, Ohuhu gives FREE REPLACEMENT markers to customers should they find there’s an issue with the markers- even DRIED OUT markers like the ones I had! I had no idea. I contacted Ohuhu, notifying them of my past purchase in April and the recent one in August. I informed them that although I was VERY pleased with the set I purchased in April, I did not know about their free replacement policy and that I had several that dried out 1-2 months after using them. So before the day was over with I had received a personal email from Ohuhu:“Please be assured that we would always stand behind our products and we will take full responsibility......” and then they offered to send me a new set of markers to retry! Yes!!! #teamohuhuMy point is, you can purchase markers or any product for that matter from any of these companies here but you can not purchase GREAT customer service and integrity. I was treated with respect and felt like they would go over and above for not just me but for any customer! Thanks for the email Shana!

Good but…
They’re really great markers, I’m not going to lie. When you’re coloring with them, the color at the end looks amazing. One of the biggest issues I’m having with them however, is that even though I’m using the clear folder that it *literally* comes with, the past marker marks I’ve made on the clear binder is STILL leaking through onto the coloring page I’m currently coloring. It’s really annoying, especially since I’m using the clear binder that is comes with, that is supposed to prevent that. The tip size is perfect for all the coloring pages I’m using, and they’re very bright. My one complaint is that no matter what you do to try and prevent “color bleed”, it doesn’t work.

A bargain for Cardmakers, Doodlers and Coloring Book Lovers!
I purchased the 60 pen set and they arrived quickly! I am delighted with my purchase and only wish that I had ordered the 80 pc set. Love the bullet nibs for coloring "doodle art" and stamped images. Others have mentioned that they bleed through the paper, and many of the colors are very close in hue... but these are the nature of all alcohol based "Art" markers. The are meant to flow and blend together smoothly. And having multiple hues of a color allows the artist to add dimension to an image. (For example, the multiple greys let you color a black dog that isn't just a solid blob of black). If you are using these on the latest craze: adult coloring books: be sure and choose a book with nice thick pages, with images only on the front side of the paper. A cheap coloring book will have average weight paper and often printed on the front and back of the sheet. You could use water-based markers or colored pencils on them, but you still probably won't like the result. It might end up blotchy or be hard to lay down a rich layer of color (on average weight paper, I mean). But these alcohol markers give a smooth even result, pretty close to what I get from my Copic markers that run $7 each pen! If you are just coloring images for fun or card making, I think you will be thrilled with these. Lately, I'm really liking the control of the bullet nib more than the Copic brush tips. I wish I could buy some add-on sets now, I like these so much! Finally: I expected the zippered pouch to be a throw-away quality, but to my surprise, it's quite nice! I like the handle, zipper and the way the markers stand up in it. Once zipped closed, it's easy to lay it on it's side to store the markers horizontally if you want to. It's really a handy little storage pouch, which makes this set an even greater bargain!
