County Ham fix and fixin's
My grandma in North Carolina would make us biscuits and country ham for breakfast. Now she is gone, my mom is gone, and I live in Arizona. Thank you, Daniel Boone Inn, for making this available to those of us that love southern food but can't get it locally. My husband had never had it, nor much southern cooking, and he loves it too. I'm back to get another order. Got White Lily flour to make us some good southern biscuits to go with it!

This old woman still loves her country Ham
Quite a few people mention that country ham is just too salty for them. Country ham is salty it’s salt cured. You can rinse it and soak it for a little bit before you fry it and that will get rid of some of the saltiness. If you want a sweet ham you need to look for a sugar cured ham. As for me, I love my Salty country ham. I like it with eggs and grits or a country ham biscuit. I am a Carolina gal but relocated to Texas years ago when I married a Texan. In Texas you cannot get country ham so I order it from Amazon once or twice a year so I can get my country ham fix. This is some really good country ham and I feel blessed that I’m able to get it because there's quite a few things I cannot get here like my beloved liver mush. What I wouldn't give for one fried liver mush sandwich. Anyway if you love country ham buy this it’s a great brand.

Southern Ham
Wanted some 'southern' ham, and that is what I got. It was a bit salty but that is what you get with this kind of ham. Other reviews that said it was too salty didn't know what they were ordering.

No Thank You
Umm… NO! I think you really need to know what your doing here. Not for your average cook. Salty as hell even after soaking and bad texture. This could be user error, but it’s a no for me dog.

Keeps forever
This is the best ham to fry and eat or throw in a pot of beans for flavor. Great country ham taste without buying a whole ham.

me to. It is very good and a great discovery for my family and I.
Old fashion ham taste that my parents introduced me to. My family and I really enjoyed. It is great for a breakfast side and on a toasted slice of French bread covered in beer cheddar cheese sauce.
