Since the plug connectors in the horn mate with the connectors on the vehicle, there is no need to be concerned with voltage polarity.

Q: Amazon description says it is for the right [ passenger side]. One answered question says it is for the left side. Which side does this replace?

It’s universal you can put it wherever you want left or right top or bottom bracket rotates on top of the horn you can turn the bracket over to the mount in any position you want to make sure you keep the opening of the horn down so it doesn’t fill with water
