Yes, it can. I use it for disinfectants and antibacterials. Does a great job. I have been using five of them for the pst nine years. You must rinse them out after each use and keep the intake filters clean. Only buy them new, not used.

Fogging time is 50 seconds (at 0.06 oz/ sq ft) for rooms measuring 12 feet diagonally, and 60 seconds (at 0.05 oz/ sq ft) for rooms measuring 18 feet diagonally. Position the fogger on the diagonal. Treat one half of the room for 25 or 30 seconds, depending on size. Then, turn the fogger in the opposite direction and fog the other half of the room for the same time period. Direct the plume of droplets in a straight line and overlap the plumes.

No. But, if this occurs, it means you are probably holding the fogger too close to a surface during use. In such cases, droplets are prevented from clearing the fogger quickly enough and end up settling on the nozzles instead of the intended surface.
