Highly recommend!
This kit was a life saver! We had twin 3rd graders needing solar system projects for test grades and this kit was exactly what we needed. The thought of having to buy individual foam balls.... in the correct sizes (times two) gave me nightmares. This kit does the hardest work for you. The kit has everything you need, just add glue (we added black paint for the base and rods). I have to admit I was a bit skeptical about the paint, but we had plenty to complete the project and did not have any issues with it peeling. Highly recommend!

Great product for Solar System
Great product for kids solar system projects. Comes unpainted but has a kit of colors. Saved me lots of money and time

Worked out better than expected.
This kit worked out well for my daughter's project. The paints were surprisingly good and their containers seal well. The brushes worked pretty good too. The paint guide was a bit lacking and the foam ring provided for Saturn was a bit wonky. There are 2 card board rings provided on the box which is what my daughter used and it looked pretty good. Overall a pretty good product and the results were good.

Great product
Worked great before I painted them I cut the bottom of the ball so I could hot gun glue it to my oaktag paper and had everything I needed

Nice product, but pieces were missing.
Missing pieces. The box says it should have 9 planets and the sun, but it only had 7 planets and the sun. We didn't notice until we'd opened it up to do it and my 6 year old was so excited to start painting that we didn't try to return it. We'll just have to add Uranus and Venus after a trip to our local craft store.

Class Project Hack!
This made our solar system project so simple and cost much less than purchasing the items individually at craft stores.

Works if you think there are only 7 planets in our solar system
Ordered this for my daughter's solar system project. We we're excited to start decorating and putting it together until we realized it was missing two planets. Now I have to scramble and try to track down two more planet size balls and hope I don't have to travel over an hour just to do it. Would have returned it if my daughter hadn't already started to paint some of them.

Excellent for a kids science educational tool
This worked out great for a 4th grader to assemble and paint on her own. It turned out great!
