How long can I store extras before they start to degrade (prior to use)?

I would think, as long as it’s not wet (or damp) and kept in the paper wrap it won’t degrade. I purchased a package of extras a year ago, still have one left and it is fine. Perhaps manufacturer could give a more exact answer.

Is the floss compostable at home or only in industrial facilities? is it astm standards certified?

You can put it in your compost if you have one, or bury it.

does this break or shred and get stuck in your teeth? I have silk floss that does this and it's awful
