Has all the features I'm looking for
Just finished installing this JVC into a 1999 Toyota 4Runner. The fit is fine, though the faceplate surround can't be used (the dash panel won't snap back in). Minor. The radio offers great support for nearly all of the features I was wanting: MP3 support via USB or MicroSD (this is via USB), aux in via 1/8" stereo RCA plug, brightness and color choice for the display, SiriusXM support (via the bundled tuner), and date/time. It doesn't appear to offer Bluetooth; that is pretty minor for me, but if you're needing that, I don't believe this item will help you without an add-on. For me, MP3 via USB, and an aux in were the main source features I was after, and this handles those input sources just fine.Installation went as smoothly as one could expect, lacking a vehicle-custom pigtail. I have the factory service manual, and that combined with the helpful pinout wiring list on the product box, I matched up all of the leads and it worked right the first time. I used dogbones, which if done right are just fine for connecting hidden cabling, but they're a pain to crimp. I marked installation a 4/5 because of this. It's not the radio's fault, but it does slow you down. It would be an excellent add-on to the bundle if the supplier would offer a vehicle-specific pigtail for a reasonable price and that would be sent along with the product, or it could be easily side-ordered.The radio sounds great, and is adequate for my fairly mild, boring listening habits. I don't need infinite power to drive low-impedance speakers to wake the wilderness. I simply want some headroom and stability at low to medium volume, and it does that just fine. The display is pretty much gorgeous in my book. That you can choose your color both for day and for night display is really nice as well. I wish the readout (song name, date/time, etc.) could be changed along with the buttons, but that's not as important as never being stuck with a controls color you don't like.Fitment was no issue, except for the minor bit with the faceplate surround. Choosing a single-DIN unit to replace a double-DIN factory unit gets me a much-needed storage bin where the CD changer used to live. The factory side-mount brackets fit properly with the JVC and it doesn't protrude too far or sit recessed. All told, a great upgrade.

Lots of features
Bought this for my sister for Christmas and she loves it. It was easy for me to install including the sirius reciever, but I also used to be a mechanic. Great sound quality, beautiful interface, and being able to change the color between day and night, if you have a dimmer line on your car, I put it on the brightest white to match her exterior color and when she turns the headlights on the unit automatically dims and the display turns red so it won't affect her night vision. She loves it so far and hopefully I won't need to update this saying she is having issues with it.

Totally worth it for the SiriusXM antenna.
First of all, this radio is pretty sharp. I love the colors, I have it set to barf rainbows all over my console, which is nice for me. The install was simple enough, having a mechanic to do it for me, and the way he tells it, it was the easiest install he's ever had to do, with satellite radio included. To be clear though, these are two different products, as it says combo. Don't think it comes preconnected or anything, it doesn't. Once you install this, or rather during, you're gonna have to connect the SiriusXM receiver and antenna, but man I love my siriusXM.

Review for JVC Radio Deck
I am having a hell of a time syncing the phone connection option. Had to buy an aux cable for the first time in years. I thought it came with bluetooth but it doesn't. Not the sellers fault I should have looked further. I plug my phone into the USB port options and it tries to connect but then the deck reads "cant connect to phone". I seen a JVC app download it had suggested but it still still doesn't work. Not any instructions in the manual over this. I dont know. To complicated and took a little bit to install. I will go ahead and keep it but I am not happy with it.

Not good for XM
Do you not like the fact that you can only really use six channels on this, tough to use with XM
