I love this style of container for efficiently carrying drill bits and driver bits of varying lengths. It expands out to easily fit even 6 inch bits. And the square tube design makes efficient use of bag space.It’s another bonus that these are US made if that is important to you.The only real negative I have is that the hanger part on top is not easily removed and it is a waste of space. If you cut it off it will leave a hole in the top things could fall out of. You can work around that by shoving foam or something in the top of the tube, so not a huge deal but it’s an annoyance.Overall these are really good and are fairly priced. Not waterproof but they don’t claim they are either (and for my use they don’t need to be). I’m happy with them and will definitely pick up more as needed.

The two sections fit together well and hold. I store drill bit sin mine and have not had them loosen while rolling around in the tool boxes.

I was glad to find these cases. They're fantastic and sturdy - so hard to find these ratcheting cases by themselves unless you want to buy huge quantities. I wish they offered them in different diameters and lengths because I've got a bunch of loose taps and mills and bits and bobs that I'd love to store in cases like this with a bit of oil. On that note, they seem resistant to common lubes and cutting oils - I think it's been a year or more since I ordered these and the plastic hasn't cracked, swollen, or become brittle.If you wish to remove the printed branding on these, good luck. It seems to be ink, not lasered, but I'll be darned if I could find a chemical that would soften or remove it.The plastic is smooth enough that it will hold labels well if you want to stick something on there and the label adhesive is decent.

I’m a field service mechanic for heavy equipment. I like to carry spare drill bits with me and before they just rolled around unorganized in a drawer and it always annoyed me. These definitely solve that problem. Keep them organized by size now.

Would love bigger sizes, especially for these handy storage tubes. I store misc. taps and drills in these in my toolbox at work. They work wonderful

They are OK..... Think "milk jug" quality plastic. Also, too short for the larger taps and bits.
