As advertised
Worked as advertised. Was able to reuse the end leftover to extend longer. You do have to flip it upside down for it to work properly - but it is above my kitchen cabinets so it worked out fine. They were much thicker/stronger than I had thought they would be. I was worried they would bend trying to use them but they didn’t at all

I'd buy it again.
Works great, but if you need to attach this to the light strip, soldering must be done with finesse. (Note: Soldering to the Phillips Hue Light-strip will void the warranty with Phillips)

only half of what is needed
The problem was not with the parts provided, its with the fact that there is just no tech support for HUE products. The connectors work but there are no connectors to do what I want which was a simple 90 deg turn for the light strip to mount on the back of my TV. HUE just did not have anything for that and the after market stuff has vague technical descriptions and did not configure with the light strip when cut so ultimately bought a lot of connectors I could not use and ended up just bending the light strip. So what I bought was fine and would have worked in the right application was just not happy trying to make the light strip into a square share with 90 deg bends.

worked perfectly
worked perfectly for extending my Hue Lightstrip; I even was able to successfully solder these to the contacts on 2-strips that I had cut from earlier installs of Hue Lighstrips. great!

Not Worth the Price
These are supposed to easily fit the Phillips "Hue" 6-channel LED RGBWA strips. They do not. The snap-in connectors are too narrow to accommodate the ends of the strips, even when cut in the middle of the solder points (and not on the "Cut Here" points, as printed on the Hue strip). Further, the pin connectors, which can be purchased to allow, and I quote directly from Litcessory's web site, describing these pin connectors: "Simply insert a pin connector into a female 6-pin end to convert it to a male end." Not so. The nylon base that holds the pins is simply too wide to fit the snap-in connector. Due to the unsuitability of the product, I essentially trashed all but a 1-foot segment of my original Hue LED strip. Do not purchase these unless you're ready for a lot of frustration, They are a waste of money.

Not Easy To Use When Soldering
While I’m sure these pin connector work well with other Litcessory connector products for Hue Lightstrips, they are not durable enough to use with a soldering iron.Even when my soldering iron was set to its lowest temperature, the second I touched a pin, the heat would move down it and melt the plastic, therefore warping the pins and forcing them out of alignment. Moreover, even when using my heat gun, set to low, to add heat shrink, it too also melted the plastic. As they are now, they just aren’t durable enough for a custom project. They really should be better able to withstand heat since most LED projects require customization and soldering is always the most reliable way of doing so. It was a good thing they came in a pack of 14 because I wasted a couple of them just trying to figure out how to work with them
