Native language to English explanations excellent.
English for Everyone is a wonderful teaching aid as well as a series for self-study. My students learn quickly in class, then review the audio pronunciation exercises at home. Series originates in the UK but all terms are clearly marked with UK or US if there are differences in usage. My students are Italian, so the Italian to English version helps. Excellent!

Very useful book for beginners
Bought it for my wife. Very useful book for beginners. Downside: Audios are not in American accent, which what we needed.

Great for a Class or Self Study
This book breaks grammar down into easy bite-sized chunks. While other ESL books tend to be overly inductive and complex, this one makes it easy for speakers of other languages. Teacher doesn't need to be a grammar expert to teach with this book, so it's great for volunteer teachers.

Easy to understand and use text
I have been teaching ESL to adults for two years. It's very difficult to find straight forward and easy to understand texts for students. I ordered this book 2 days ago and am impressed with the use of graphics and the practice exercises. I can't wait to use it in my classroom. I'm back to order another level tonight.
