THIS IS A VERY GOOD PRODUCT, BEAUTIFUL CASE. GOOD QUALITY.

Q: Does the paddles rubber have pits on it. Also is there a layer of absorbing padding between the surface rubber and the paddle?

No padding between but we have found these paddles to be excellent and so worth the cost. Quality paddles that are durable and in my opinion well made

Q: What is the spin, speed, and control rating for this paddle? I enjoy using spins

On a scale of 1-10, with 10 being the most spin, I would give this a 7. This is better suited for a power game. As for control I would rate it in the high 9's. If you are looking for something for an excessive spin game, I don't think this is for you.
