I like that I can add oils to the water for a nice eucalyptus steam. I have ordered this item twice and both items have come with the face shield going on crooked. It drives me mad and really annoys me. I haven’t seen others made this way and I’m not sure if this is just a bad batch or what.

I've used my Conair face steamer several times already. It takes about 3 minutes to get to steam heat and provides up to 30 minutes of steam until the water runs out. It's so simple to use and the cone that sits on top directs the steam towards your whole face. I've found the heat to be mostly even without dangerous hot spots due to the Conair's design. You'll still have to move your head around a bit if you want to focus on a particular area but it doesn't require too much maneuvering. I haven't used the smaller tube designed for sinuses nor have I draped a towel over my head to enhance the effects of the face steamer but I would expect equally good results to my current use of the steamer. I highly recommend it.

Normally, I like Conair products, but this one was a real disappointment. The tiny reservoir barely holds a quarter cup of water which is not enough to give off proper steam and so this one didn't. I kept waiting for the boiling water to disperse steam to my face but nothing happened. It would take a month of Sundays to get steam from this machine which is a shame because it's pretty, easy to use, and comes with a facial scrub brush. I wanted to keep it, but it made no sense because proper steam is important to cleanse the face. When I tried to get help, the company gave me instructions to remove the reservoir from the back and make sure it was working correctly but there was no way to remove the reservoir. Could be that they sent the wrong machine or gave me instructions for an incorrect machine. Sorry, it goes back

So I really was surprised that my face could accumulate so much environmental gunk from outside and that vigorous washing was only so adequate for cleansing the skin. On arrival I read the directions, and yes, do read them if you haven't used a face steamer before as you can burn yourself. I used bottled water for safety of the internal mechanisms and set it up for use. First use, my skin felt really flushed, and when I went to wipe it on a washcloth, well, it was gross. My pores had ejected all kinds of stuff (sebum I later learned) and were opened wide and airing out. I had no idea that as a man using a good facial steamer each week could really improve your skin health and feel. I think efforts should be made to market this to more men.

Minimal steam output. Small well for water to boil. No room to use a motorized facial brush or massage your face & get any steam action because you are too far away/not getting enough steam. Am returning this now for a stronger steamer that's only $20 more.

Very comfortable good steam I recommend I buy to my best friend because she wanted I have one from best buy from 4 years ago it works great
