Absolutely Fantastic Product
I’m an engineer, not a professional mechanic, but this piece of test gear is awesome! Instead of the “parts cannon” as the Car Wizard says, I’m able to prove what part needs replaced with certainty. Love the case to keep everything neat and tidy. Huge recommendation!

Bottom of the barrel quality
Right out of the box I was shocked at how flimsy and low quality this chassisear system is. The headphones are what I would call "The free disposable headphones in economy class on an airplane" quality, and the rest of the system isn't much better. Not a single piece of this system even remotely resembles what I would call "automotive tool quality". It is just absolutely horrible. The plastic housing for the control unit is not sealed in any way; The connectors it uses are bottom of the barrel china connectors; I can see this system lasting for about 2 weeks of typical use in a shop. There is no calibration for microphone gain, etc... I could make a better setup with a bunch of amazon microphones and a headphone amplifier. Definitely sending this back immediately.

This is a handy tool.
The media could not be loaded. I had a noise coming from under my vehicle and wanted to diagnose it before I gave it to the dealer to repair under warrant. These days with labor shortages routine things take so much time and I don't want to lose my vehicle any longer than necessary. I was able to pinpoint the noise to an exhaust leak and eliminate the two differentials, transmission, and transfer case. I would have been guessing for weeks and swapping parts without this tool.The display is nice and the headphones provide plenty of sound. The transmitters seem durable enough, one did have the micro-usb fail, but was quickly replaced by the seller. Overall, highly recommend if you are chasing down a hard to find noise.

it has better hook up than the last generation have not used it yet.
better head phones and module than the last generation have not been able to use it yet but it has a better design and that was enough for me.

An amazing product! Works very well. Can't believe how sensitive it is and the time it saves isolating noises. Wish I had this before now.

battery
Order the unit in one of the transponders would not take a charge or work when plugged into the clamp. Contact customer support had them send me another one the other one doing the same thing the battery is no good. Ordered some batteries online took them apart installed new batteries and they started working. For the amount of money they charge I would not recommend this. the product concept is good but the quality is not. One of the identification boots was torn to pieces inside the wrapper as well.
